TMNT 2014: the return of my childhood heroes in theaters

Today, I return in my child mind, because I watch the trailer of a movie, which tells the story of my childhood heroes, and also the first "creatures" which have made me loved the world fantastic and the monsters: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I know the Ninja Turtles since I have 8 years old. Even though I grew up, I remain a big fan of Ninja Turtles, and it is always a pleasure I see episodes of animated series or movies of the 90s.

The movies about the ninja turtles in the 90s, was mainly based on the spirit of the animated series, more based on the comical than the action, because the comics about ninja turtles are action-oriented, and may even contain scenes very violent, that the director has found inappropriate for a film destined to children.

But for this movie in 2014, when I saw the trailer, I think this movie will be shot towards the spirit of comics, with a few funny scenes, but most of the action, combat and fantasy.

And of course, many people begin immediately to judge the film about the trailer by saying something like "special effects are ugly" or "new shit yet to come." This kind of reaction really annoys me, because how can you judge a film on its trailer? You can not!
Besides, my friend, Emily, has say something on her facebook page, which is quite true: "Think before you judge. Listen before you hate."
Well, in this case, it is the same thing, before you criticize this film, people should think and watch the movie before judging. But it's human nature, unfortunately.

But finally, I must say that I am anxious to see this movie, and I'm sure I would not be disappointed. In addition, the film released in theaters two days before my birthday, which makes me even happier.
My childhood heroes are back!

RIP Oderus Urungus: Tribute to the leader of Gwar

This morning on the internet, I learned a new one that breaks my heart and fills me great sadness: Oderus Urungus, the leader of Thrash Metal band, Gwar, is sadly died on March 23, at the age of 50.
Gwar is one of my favorite bands and I always considered Oderus, as a mentor, a master, and I will continue to believe in him, always.
I absolutely wanted to see Gwar in real, but I think it will never happen, because without Oderus Urungus, the future looks uncertain for the group and Gwar will probably disappear, but I know that as a Gwar fan I will continue to listen their music and continue with all the other Gwar fans, to live this thrash music, gore but beautiful.

It's with the broken heart and the greatest sadness that I bid farewell to Oderus Urungus, one of the wildest and terrifying singers, but also one of the most talented I know. I extend my sincere condolences to his family, friends and also the rest of the band Gwar.
RIP Oderus, my mentor, we will never forget you and we will miss you.
I love you dude :'(
RIP

My concerts for this year

I saw Lordi twice last year, and see two times my Lordi Evilove, Hella. This year, I see other groups, but not the least. Here, my concerts program for 2014:

April 30: Halestorm
For months, I wanted to see this group, and one day, I saw they were going to Paris for a concert. I asked myself "Mathias, here's your chance." I grabbed it and I succeeded, I have tickets for my first concert of Halestorm. I really look forward to hear their amazing songs in live, and I will also see another of my eviloves, the beautiful and talented singer of the group, Lzzy Hale.

July 03: Ghost
At first I could not see Ghost because for me, the concert venue was too far from home. Initially, I had to go to the Hellfest, but finally canceled the project because of the ticket prices too expensive. I was really disappointed by this. Then my mother told me "Ghost makes always his concert in France?" And well, I'm going to go see Papa Emeritus II and his Nameless Ghouls in live.

August 10: Motorhead, Tarja Turunen and Airbourne
While there, I was already excited to go see Halestorm and Ghost in the same year there, my joy has overflowed! In August, a festival called la foire aux vins, will take place, and on Sunday there will be the "Hard Rock Session", and when I saw the program this year and I knew I could go, my heart explode with joy in my chest! The legendary band, Motorhead, will be present, as well as the Australian group and explosive, Airbourne, and also, the lovely and talented finnish female singer, but also one of my eviloves, Tarja Turunen.

This year will be HEAVY METAL!

Happy Birthday Lady Awa

Today is the anniversary of my first evilove, Lady Awa, former keyboardist of Finnish band Lordi, and who remains for me one of the first women in my heart.

But if I write today is to wish happy birthday to Awa, but also to say that this year, it's been five years that I known Lordi, and therefore that I known Awa. Already five years, time flies. I feel like it was yesterday, the day I discovered Lordi, in watching the movie "Dark Floors" which was on television on the chain or I zapped. And the same evening, I listened to my first Lordi songs on youtube like "Hard Rock Hallelujah", "It Snows in Hell", "Devil is a Loser" or "Would you Love a Monsterman." A day that will remain etched in my memory forever. And this is the same day or I fell in love with Awa. One of the best feelings I've felt in my life.
Very Happy Birthday, my countess of darkness <3

My two first video games Fictionals Loves

Before, I had no love in video games, but that was before I saw these two women, beautiful and combative. Now, I'm in love with them.

Ellie Langford (Dead Space) <3
Despite her small size and her angelic face, Ellie is the kind of woman he better not annoy, unless you want to take a kick to the ass. Ellie is very beautiful, but she knows how to use weapons and kill the Necromorphs. In addition, she absolutely wants to prevent the Necromorphs from spreading, and wants save humanity. I love her!

Aela the Huntress (Skyrim) <3
As Ellie, Aela is a fighter, who is unfazed by men, on the contrary, she is able to give them a beating to put their ideas into place. Aela is not an ordinary human, she is also a werewolf. The first time I saw Aela in the game, it was love at first sight (and now I'm married to her, it's really great!)
I love her!

Movies about Music Bands

Several groups have already played in movies, but some even create their own films, playing the main roles, nice or nasty. Today, I talk about three movies I've seen, with known groups.

Dark Floors (Lordi)
Horror/Fantasy

Horror movie, or the famous Finnish group, Lordi, plays the role of infernal monsters in a sinister hospital. A group of survivors trapped in the huge building and absolutely must find a way out, but the monsters are there, determined to prevent them from reaching their goal. Although the film is quite short and the scenario seems basic, the film plunges us into a very sinister and mysterious atmosphere, or we often wonder "why" or "how." The Lordi members play their roles of monsters with perfection, and there are several kinds: Awa, the ghost woman who passes through the walls. Kita, the monster that wants to devour human flesh. Ox, the big bully who destroys the doors and walls. Amen, the monster that tears the hearts of his victims and that can trigger sandstorms, and Mr. Lordi, the lord of the monsters and uses darkness as a weapon to catch its preys.

Electroma (Daft Punk)
Drama/Science Fiction

After the horror, drama. Two robots (Daft Punk), live in a futuristic world where everyone is alike. Our two heroes want to become humans at all costs, but unfortunately for them, will never manage, and, convinced that no one will ever understand them and that they will never achieve their dreams, they kill themselves rather than remain machines throughout their lives. The outstanding feature of this film is that there is no dialogue, but the two robots make us feel their emotions through their helmets, with astonishing efficiency. Personally, this film made me shed tears for the scenes or two heroes die, are certainly very sad, but beautifully played. You can feel their pain and their wish to die rather than remain robots. Although the film does not end well for our two heroes, this film is a masterpiece, that always makes me shed tears every time I watch it.

KISS meets the Phantom of the Park (KISS)
Fantasy/Musical

The most legendary rock band of the world appears in this fantasy little film. Group members play their own roles, but this time, they have powers, like super heroes. Paul Stanley can send lasers with his eyes and listen to conversations remotely. Gene Simmons has superhuman strength and can spit fire from its mouth. Ace Frehley can teleport and Peter Criss has a superhuman agility. Together, they will have to defeat Abner Devereaux, an employee of an amusement park, which turns out to be a mad scientist who turns people into robots. This film is really freindly, also I thank my two Canadian friends, Emily and Brayden, for making me discover this film. The idea of a rock band with powers, who faces a scientist and an army of evil robots, is rather original and fun. Some scenes make me laugh, and some sentences also (like the famous "Hi Curly" of Ace Frehley, I never get tired lol)
