My first Ghost Ritual: an unforgettable moment!

Yesterday, I had a memorable day. I saw one of my favorite live bands, a group whose reputation grows quickly: Ghost. The concert took place in the town of Arras (northern France) in a historical place called "The Citadel". I had seen pictures of rituals of some of my friends and I knew I would not be disappointed with the show. Here are some pictures and a small description of the concert.

In the morning, I got up, saying "Wow, it's today." 3 hour drive to go to Arras, but it was the only day or I could see Ghost this year, so I seized the opportunity. The weather was very hot all day, lots of sunshine and no clouds. No rain during the concert, even if it would add to the dark atmosphere of Ghost lol.

At Arras, in front of the citadel, there were already a lot of people gathered outside the entrance. I waited almost one hour with other metalheads like me. It was nice, but it was really hot and the sun was beating down. And finally, when we were entering in the citadel, my heart was beating hard, and I could give my ticket. The security was very strict, There were guards everywhere.

I did not wait very long before the concert begins. The intro of Ghost is simply superb. A dark and mysterious music that sounds in the citadel, sinister religious songs that seem to come from another world. A few seconds later, the Nameless Ghouls come slowly and begin to play with their instruments. And finally, the big boss arrives, the pope of the metalheads, our great master to all: Papa Emeritus II. He is already impressive in the videos, but in live, I was amazed, he is truly spectacular.

I was not at the first row, but regardless, I had a very good place and I could see the band in all its glory. Ghost played some of my favorite songs like "Ritual" "Stand by Him" "If you Have Ghost" or "Monstrance Clock", to name a few (they did not play "Secular Haze", it's pity) . But in any case, I spent an unforgettable moment, one of my best concerts for now. The concert was filmed in live, and they also filmed the public, so I think I will appear on the video, but even if this is not the case, it does not matter, I could always say "I was there and it was amazing! "

One of the most beautiful and unforgettable moments of the concert is when I sang "Monstrance Clock" with Ghost and the whole crowd. I sang as loud as possible, and I had a sore throat after the concert, but I was so happy to have sung with Ghost. At the end of the concert, I was a little sad to leave, but I have thinking "They'll be back, for sure." Thanks again Ghost for this show that will remain etched in my memory and my heart, forever.

Long live to Ghost and the Clergy!!!!
