DiscoveRock Edition N°12 - Akentra

Happy April 1st, and no, this will not be an April Fools article, sorry ;)
Welcome to the daily rubric of the month: DiscoveRock, and this month, returning to France, for I introduce you to a metal band from my country, a group I discovered last year and whose I am a fan and I go to see when I can: Akentra.

Formed in 2006 by Lucia Ferreira, the singer, and the drummer Steve Tilmant, Akentra is a French metal band, and for me, one of my revelations in 2015. Their music, very melodic, punchy, from beginning to end non-stop, is for me as a mix of rock and metal, very effective and giving very catchy songs. My headbanging mode is activated each time. The band has at its credit for now, two albums, "Asleep," released in 2010, and "Alive", released in 2014, which marks the return of the group after 4 years but they are still there, as the title of the album shows it. Akentra also has to his credit an EP called "IV IV IV," released in 2009. And I'm waiting for the upcoming of, maybe, a new album soon. :D 

For my part, I have already seen Akentra three times in live, and I will continue because I'm never tired. It's always a pleasure to see and hear them. I spoke with them, they are really nice, and I have memories as their setlist and photos with them, to keep a mark of these wonderful moments. I also made several videos of my concerts with Akentra, I published them on my youtube page (link under the text), and I share on foreign metal communities where I'm subscribed, making discovering Akentra to my friends living across the borders of France. So, if you love punchy and melodic rock/metal music, you'll love Akentra \m/ ;)

( WARNING SPOILERS) Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice review

WARNING SPOILERS, if you have not yet seen the film which I am told, do not read the following article.

Today I went to the cinema to see a movie I was waiting with great pleasure and also a lot of confidence. A film that seemed to have been much underestimated before its release, yet critics are good: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
DC has marked my childhood, especially Batman, so here's a quick summary of what I thought of the film.

Black and blue. Day vs Night. God vs Man.

When I was a child, I watched my heroes save the world, and today I saw them face to face, for the first time.

After the tragic events that nearly destroyed Metropolis, Superman is frowned upon by many people because of its strength and its destructive powers. And among these people there is Bruce Wayne, who does not forgive to Superman for all the innocent lives that were lost in the fights. Batman also knows that Superman would be able to destroy humanity if he wanted to, and therefore Batman considers Superman as a threat to eradicate, and decides to act. But that's not counting Lex Luthor, who will enjoy this confrontation for more ruin the image of Superman, 'cause he wants to show him to the world as a demon, not a guardian angel.

The film lasts more than two hours, and the first hour is devoted mainly to the development of the characters and the world they live. No really action, but very very interesting to watch because it laid the foundations of the film and we have to be careful if we want to understand the following. And it also allows us to see the situation where live Batman and Superman. Bruce Wayne is still torn by the death of his parents, his years of struggle against crime and now the omnipresent threat that is Superman in his opinion. Superman, despite his relationship with Lois Lane, knows he has done as much harm as good around him and he has to live with that, everyday. Henry Cavill is excellent in the role of Superman, and I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Ben Affleck as Batman. Very good casting.

For those hoping to see non-stop fighting, you may be disappointed, but do not worry, towards the end, there is the much awaited scene: the fight between Batman and Superman. Batman perfected his outfit and carries a reinforced armor to better absorb the blows (really badass armor by the way). Batman uses the whole arsenal available but can not hurt Superman, who with one hand, manages to throw Batman in the air. Batman then uses a secret weapon:  projectiles of kryptonite stolen to Lex Luthor, and he use them to weaken Superman. The fight did not last very long, the two heroes are fighting with determination and violence, and against all odds, Batman manages to take over Superman, and is about to kill him with a spear of kryptonite. Superman then reveals that he is blackmailed organized by Lex Luthor, who owns Martha, the adoptive mother of Superman, as hostage. Hearing the Martha name, which was also the name of his mother, Batman was during few seconds like plunged back into his past and realizes that he is about to do the same thing as the man who killed his parents: he is about to kill and to become a murderer. 

The scene of the fight between Batman and Superman remains for me the most badass and striking scene of the whole movie. See a mortal, just with his weapons and gadgets, fight against a kind of living god with devastating powers. Wow! And even if he can not defeat Superman physically, Batman still manages to give a hard time to Superman. But after, the battle ends with a kind of reconciliation, which was a little sloppy for me.  

Because yes, this is where the real villain of the story appears: Doomsday, the infernal creature created by Luthor, and has the same force as Superman. And to help Superman and Batman in their fight, another hero emerged: Wonder Woman! So yes, she had appeared before in some scenes, in civilian clothes, and she seemed spy Bruce Wayne, also as if she was looking for something. She is played by the Israeli actress Gal Gadot, which for me has become the new face of Wonder Woman, so much I found her badass (and super sexy;) ). Only negative about her: her character was not enough developed and I wanted to see more, and also see her fighting a little more against Doomsday. Superman was a bit much put forward during the fight against Doomsday, because Batman is not really active, but it's true that as a human, he is more vulnerable to attacks from Doomsday.

And to preserve the surprise I will not tell how the film ends, but many will be shocked, as I've been.

And to finish, I give to the movie: 8/10

See evil, eye to eye

There are many days I had a very dark and violent dream about Maleficent, my favorite Disney female villain. I was a warrior, member of an order close to the design of the Night's Watch, and by order of King Stefan, with an army, I was attacking the fortress of Maleficent, on the forbidden mountain. But the attack quickly turned to our disadvantage when the monster troops started coming from all sides, and when Maleficent herself appeared, I tried to confront her face to face, but she defeated me rather easily . As a human, what could I do against her, the mistress of all evil?
Anyway, last night I even dreamed of her. Surely a sequel to my first dream.

When I opened my eyes, I was lying on my back, on a kind of large stone table in a rather dark and damp room, like a dungeon. I had my arms in cross and my wrists and ankles had been locked by chains. I tried to force it, but of course, nothing to do about it.

Maleficent entered in the room, still wearing her great demonic black dress. His eyes shone almost in the dark. Her crow came to rest on a pile of debris next, and without saying a word but rather worried, I looked Maleficent turn slowly around me, as if she was examining me. Then she started talking to me. I made a summary of what we said.

(Maleficent): "I must admit I am impressed. As much determination in one person, a mortal. I do not know if it's courage or stupidity, but I admire that."

(Me): "Listen, I do not know why you leave me alive, and I don't care! You want to be impressed? Then release me and I'll show you what I can do."

Maleficent chuckling softly at this, not at all impressed by my threat, she even seemed rather to love my anger. She put her cold hand on my arm.

(Maleficent): "So much anger ..... So much hatred ..... You are different, Mathias. You have great capacity for a mortal, but you do not use them for the good reasons."

(Me): "What do you mean?"

(Maleficent): "I saw the way you fight on the battlefield. Your strength. Your resistance. You are a leader, but more, you have the potential of a lord. You might be .... .A king. But to be a king, you must also have a queen."

At these words, she approached me and gently, her hand came gently scratching my cheek with her nails. I was pretty amazed at how she spoke. She did not want to kill me, it's almost like if I fascinated her.

(Me): "I don't understand. what you want from me?"

(Maleficent): "I want to show you the path to take, Mathias. Do not be a slave to those who think themselves above you. I saw in the flames of my visions you might being lead to a destiny bigger."

(Me): "And I guess in this destiny, there was you too?"

When I said this, Maleficent had a smile and a mischievous look to me. She even touched my face, but this time, gently and leaned toward me.

(Maleficent): "Probably."

When I saw her more closely, I found her always hostile of course, but I thought, how the evil can have such great beauty? Yes, I find Maleficent beautiful, and my heart starts pounding, without knowing why.

(Maleficent): "But it is not only your strength that fascinates me in you, Mathias. There is also something else .... ..... Who attracts me."

(Me): ".... And what is it?"

I blushed almost at that moment. But Maleficent did not answered and was content to smile at me. Then I woke up at that time.

Started my first official novel

It is a dream I had since long, before I only wrote fanfictions, but now I'm starting, I finally decided to start a project, an experience that is important to me and I want to try: I become an author, and I started writing my first real novel! Thanks to my favorite authors, the great John R. R. Tolkien and George R. R. Martin, for have inspired me.
Before that, I of course created the universe in which I want to give life through my texts. As a fan of fantasy, my world will be a Medieval / Fantasy universe, with as few elements of Steampunk. This will be a kind of semi-futuristic Middle Ages. I find the names and created my main characters, antagonists, secondary characters, in short, a lot of work for my brain, and it does not stop there because I also created places, creatures that live in this world, and even the religions. There will be creatures from different mythologies, such as Norse mythology or Greek mythology, but also creatures that I created myself. I also created a timeline of this world, by recounting past events there that have marked the history, even centuries before the first volume.
For those who expect to see a fairy tale, you may be disappointed, because my world is pretty grim and dangerous. Drama, horror, adventure, action, fantasy, and a bit of romance too.
I say no more for now, but the first chapter is already finished and the second is almost, so I'll continue. My name is Mathias J.S. Poupinais. ;)

DiscoveRock Edition N°11 - Special Legend Tribute - AC/DC

Another edition for the legends, but the group which I will speak also deserves its place in the pantheon, by far. One of the most legendary bands of all time and always operating today: AC / DC

"Highway to hell." Hells Bells". "Back in Black." "Thunderstruck." All these words have become cult and recognizable for any fan of rock worldwide. AC / DC is an Australian band, founded in 1973 by the brothers Young, Angus and Malcolm. The first singer of the band was called Bon Scott, who sang on the now cult song "Highway to Hell." Unfortunately, Bon Scott died in 1980 due to an excessive alcohol consumption. He was replaced by Brian Johnson, who became too a cult singer of AC / DC, and is still today the singer of the band. The best known member is probably Angus Young, guitarist and a founding member of the group. In 2014, following serious health problems, Malcolm Young decided to leave the band, and it's the third brother Young, Stevie, who takes his place in AC/DC. With 16 albums to their credit, millions of records sold worldwide, hundreds and hundreds of tours and concerts, AC / DC became one of the most emblematic bands of all time and is still active today. If you love old school hard Rock N Roll, AC/DC is made for you.

DiscoveRock Edition N°10 - Special Legend Tribute - ZZ Top

Rather exceptional, yet this month, I decided to republish a special  legend tribute of DiscoveRock. This time, I present a band that exists since the early 70s and is still active: ZZ Top.

ZZ Top was formed in 1969 by Billy Gibbons (guitar and lead vocals), Dusty Hill (bass and backing vocals) and Frank Beard (drums). One of the symbols of the group are the long beards of Billy and Dusty, Frank has no beard (ironic given that his last name is Beard). The group mixes blues and rock music with high efficiency and has win a leading reputation that has grown over the years and over the albums. Throughout the years, the band members have never changed, and that's one of the few groups to have never changed any of its members during his career. With their latest album released in 2012, ZZ Top still continues to give concerts, remain faithful to their style and principles. I saw them in concert last year, and I was pleasantly surprised, I had a great moment and I hope to see them in live again as soon as possible. If you love the world and the atmosphere of the desert, blues, rock .... You will love ZZ Top.

Battle of the Forbidden Mountain

For several days now, when I look through the Disney universe, my attention focused on my favorite villain: Maleficent. After reviewing the scenes where she appeared in Sleeping Beauty, the 1959 Disney film, something seems to have awakened within me, something that I kept since my childhood, who knows? Well, this night, I finally dreamed of Maleficent, but this dream was rather dark, hard and violent, much more and did not expect you to a description of a dream in disney mode. The Sleeping Beauty film was rather based on the romantic medieval fantasy with princess and prince charming, well, not my dream.

Like the story, my dream began in the castle of King Stefan and Queen Leah. I was in the courtyard, dressed in a black outfit, an outfit that looks almost like those of the Night's Watch, and a sword hanging on my belt. I still had my long hair and my little goatee on the chin. I walked into the throne room, with two other armed men, men of my order because they were dressed in black too, but one of them was my superior and walked before me. As we walked, I looked around me and I saw that the servants were busy removing the decorations of the ceremony that had taken place earlier. King Stefan was sitting on his throne, and out of respect, we bowed down to him. When my superior asked why we came, the King said that during the ceremony in honor of the birth of Princess Aurora, Maleficent had come and decreed that she was angry to be not invited, she launched a curse on Aurora and threatened to destroy all those who try to stop her. The three fairies had the idea to take Aurora to hide her, but for Stefan, it was not enough. For the safety of the kingdom and of his daughter, the king ordered us to assemble an army and attack the fortress of Maleficent, the forbidden mountain. We have no choice and we obey, and to help us, the king and queen sends troops of their own army to complete our ranks.

Later, I was on my horse, and came to the forbidden mountain, with the army formed by the different kingdoms. It was cold, the wind blew fiercely and the snow was falling lightly around us. We felt a demonic presence around us, and it seemed to act on the morale of some. But when we arrived at the foot of the forbidden mountain, we were surprised to see a huge army of creatures coming from the depths of the caves and bar our passage to the mountain. The monsters were like those of the disney film, but more horrible and less stupid, with weapons and monstrous armors, roaring and waving, ready to fight. Some had blood coming out of their mouths. There were thousands, and suddenly, the army has started to rush towards us. My superior took his sword and ordered the assault, and we obey. I took my sword, and our troops rushed too. I had a heavy heart, my sword in my hand, but I shouted with all my strength, ready to kill the creatures on my way and reach the mountain. The two armies were clashing against each other in a violent and deadly hit for the first lines of the two armies, and the battle of the forbidden mountain began (that's how I named this moment).

I saw the battle around me. The men in armor, swords and shields in their hands, were fighting against the creatures of hell. The beatings were violent, and the sound of metal and pain or rage cries resounded in the air. The riders on their horses face kind of giant wolves with red eyes that look like Wargs. One of the riders was thrown to the ground and the wolf begins to shred the throat. It was total disorder. Personally, I was in the middle of the battlefield, I dodged the blow of a creature and killed him in the beheading. Black blood spurted from the wound while the body fell to the ground. I parried the blow of some kind of gargoyle, and have pierced him in the abdomen. But the battle was not quite to our advantage, I saw many of my allies being killed by the monsters, more and more numerous. I tried to fight my way to the mountain, while killing the creatures who wanted to try to stop me. But suddenly there was a huge explosion of flames that threw me back and I rolled over several meters. The blast killed several men, but also several monsters. While I was on the ground, half-stunned, I turned my eyes to see what happens. A wall of green flames were formed on both sides and I could not run away.

And there, appearing in a blaze of green flames that appeared magically, appeared Maleficent, holding her scepter in hand. She was furious that her field is attacked, she advanced towards me and started talking to me, menacingly. "Who are you, you who dare challenge me?"

I did not answer, but I watched with an air of defiance. Among the flames, in my battle armor, my face covered with dirt and dust, I took my sword, and gradually resuming my forces, I started to run towards her, amid the walls of flames, clutching my sword in my hand, clenched teeth and determined look. Maleficent did not move and did not seem to feel threatened. Rather, I thought I saw a rather amused look and a smile forming at the corners of her mouth. 

I tried to attack her, but her scepter adorned my sword without any problem, and she hit me in the chest. Maleficent got me back down, but with a quick movement, I threw one of my knives on her. But she was even faster and once again with her scepter, destroyed my dagger. Maleficent sneered, and began to invoke lightning. Lightning knocking near of me, and I jumped on the sides to avoid being killed. Maleficent looked at me with interest, seeing my determination to fight and survive. She also saw my look of anger towards her, and it seemed to please to her. Completely exhausted, I was unable to dodge the last flash that hit me in the chest, and I fell to the ground, injured and suffering terribly. Blood ran from my forehead and I had a burn mark on my armor. Maleficent spread the flames and stepped forward. She knelt and leaned over me, looking at me with interest with a small devilish smile. I did not know what she would do to me. With her sharp nails, she gently rubbed my cheek, and then she spoke to me, but this time with a calmer voice, almost charming to me. "I admire your strength and your courage, young human. But I am the queen of evil ..... However, a queen needs a king ....." And saying this, she looked at me in the eyes. I did not know how to react, but to his way of looking at me, I could almost blushing and her voice seemed more beautiful. Being too weak, I was about to faint, but before that, I saw Maleficent going to two of her monsters, and tell them: "Take this one and bring him into the mountain, without hurt him. I have plans for him. " And the last thing I saw before I wake up, was the creatures who came to take me, and Maleficent smiling at me one last time with a satisfied look.

Hero of the Month - Edition N°7

Hellcome in the traditional edition of the Hero of the Month.

This month, We will meet one of the most mysterious characters of Tolkien, and also one of the most powerful and wisest women of the Medieval Fantasy universe: Lady Galadriel.

Galadriel was born in 1362, during the year the trees, before the first age of the Middle Earth. She is a elf woman, but not just any. She was among the first three elves to receive a power ring. In the story, following the adventures of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, Galadriel lived before in Rivendell, with his people. But one day, Gandalf brought terrible news, that of the return of evil forces in Middle-earth, and a proof: the sword of the Witch-king of Angmar, who was supposed being lost forever. With her great powers, Galadriel manages to guess without difficulty that Gandalf telling the truth. Soon after, she comes to save Gandalf at Dol Guldur, but was forced to duel against Sauron, who has returned. With her elven power and saw her power tenfold, Galadriel managed to defeat Sauron, who fled. But Galadriel does not come out unscathed from this fight, and half dead, she was bring by Elrond in Lorien, to keep her safe and that she can regain her forces. Galadriel therefore decided to stay in Lorien, or she reigns with her husband Celeborn. 60 years later, she met the Fellowship of the Ring, which after the loss of Gandalf, is arriving in Lorien in hope to find refuge and solace. Galadriel immediately guessed that Frodo was the ring's bearer. After resisting the temptation to want to take the ring, Galadriel said goodbye to the Fellowship of the Ring, but however, with her powers, she will remain with Frodo, through thoughts and visions, as a spiritual guide, and support him in its walking against the darkness. At the end of the third age, after the death of Sauron, Galadriel, with Elrond, Celeborn, Frodo, Bilbo and Gandalf decide to leave the Middle Earth by a boat that take them westward.

If Sauron is the darkness incarnation in Middle-earth, Galadriel embodies light. She also seems to be the only person enough powerful to be able to fight Sauron and hope to defeat him. Galadriel is a Noldor, a race of ancient elves, known to be among the most wise and learned beings of all time. She is even a member of the royal line of the Noldor, which designates her as a queen. Like all elves, Galadriel is immortal, but she seems however to have a longer life than others, because she was already an adult before the creation of the ring. And all the past centuries have not affected Galadriel, physically, never seems to have aged. Galadriel is very beautiful, and a rumor says that all those who watched her fallen under her spell, and are never come back from Lorien, alive. But this seems to be just a mere rumor intended to keep away the intruders and curious people from the Lorien. 

Galadriel is among the most powerful elves. She has lots of powers, very mysterious, and is able to read people's thoughts and guess their secrets, as their deepest fears, and to see visions of the future in the minds of people. It is not known how she got all these powers, but we think it is thanks to her power ring she received. Galadriel is a wise, her voice calm and soothing is enough to give hope and courage to those who listen. She always gives advices to those who request it and is always listening.

But Galadriel also has a dark side, which boosts my power but also his anger. She endeavors to combat and control this dark side of herself not to sink into darkness and become like Sauron. She manages to resist her dark side when Frodo offers to give her the ring, as a sort of test to see if Galadriel is still worthy.

To be one of the most mysterious and beautiful figures of all the Medieval Fantasy universe, and also one of the most powerful and wise, Galadriel deserves her place among the iconic heroes.

DiscoveRock Edition N°9 - Special Legend Tribute - Jimi Hendrix

Hellcome, and today another special article. In addition to the daily DiscoveRock Editions I will publish once by month, I will also publish, from time to time, special editions "legend tribute". I started in January, making a special edition for Motörhead, and for the second special edition, here is some of my favorite legends: The best guitarist ever, Jimi Hendrix.

Jimi Hendrix was among those who saw the birth of rock and contributed to its success in the years that followed. Jimi Hendrix was left-handed, but he played with a right-handed guitar, which did not bother him. He liked to improvise things, and with his unique style of guitar, Jimi created amazing and complex riffs, which are well feel the old Rock of the 60-70s. Even today, his legend continues to live and inspire a large number of fans around the world. But unfortunately, Jimi Hendrix died in 1970 at the age of 27, following an overdose of a mixture of drugs and alcohol. All hail Jimi Hendrix, the best guitarist who ever lived, and one of those who revolutionized the rock music and made sure that metal music can be born.

Motörhead in Westeros - Till the End, on the Wall.

Have dreams of something you love, that's fine, but have dreams that mix several things you love is better. This is what happened to me that night, I made one of the most beautiful dreams of my life. I've always wondered what could be a mix between Metal music and Game of Thrones. Well, I have the answer now:

My dream almost looked like a video clip. I was in Westeros, specifically at the top of the wall, in the north. Although I didn't have fur or warm clothes, I didn't feel the cold. It was night, but there was light through the torches hanging on wooden poles. I saw men of the Night's Watch who appeared to prepare weapons and defenses on the wall. I even saw Jon Snow, who had his sword in hand and giving orders to a group of men. And a little further on a large wooden platform, I saw Motorhead, playing the song "Till the End". Mikkey Dee banging heavily on the battery, Phil Campbell pinched the strings of his guitar, and Lemmy was made vibrate the strings of his bass, while singing into a microphone. The band played the song, surrounded by fiery torches, while the flakes were falling slowly around them and the wind was blowing. I was the only one to see the group. Jon Snow and the Night's Watch did not seem to see them, as is the case in most of the video clips, a story is told while the band plays beside.

But in a short time, while singing, Lemmy seemed to notice me as I approached the platform where they were. Lemmy turned his head toward me and raised his thumb in the air while smiling at me before continuing to sing. I smiled too, and suddenly, lightning began to explode in the sky, but it didn't seemed to bother Motörhead. Looking down from the wall, I saw the army of the dead trying to cross the main door, and the Night's Watch has started to throw flaming barrels on the zombies from the top of the wall. And towards the end of the song, when Motörhead started playing harder, a mighty roar resounded in the air, and I saw the three dragons arrive in the ky, and on the back of Drogon, Daenerys was there as ready to fight against the army of the dead. With her dragons, Daenerys was flying towards the army of the dead and began to attack. Drogon began to breathe fire on the wights. On the top of the wall, I saw Tyrion Lannister arrive, with his armor and ax, ready to defend himself alongside the Night's Watch. And when the song ended, Motörhead have let their instruments and suddenly a great light appeared from nowhere, and Motörhead leave their instruments. I wanted to follow them, but I could not move. I wanted to talk, but I could not. Then, I saw Motorhead going into the light. And I woke up.

When I woke up, I was torn between joy and sadness. I even felt tears ready to flow from my eyes. I felt half good, but also half bad.

Villain of the Month - Edition N°8

Hellcome humans, for the edition dedicated to the most epic fictional villains.

For this month, special edition, because it's the first Disney villain to appear in the edition. So this is also dedicated to Disney fans and those who love Disney villains.
She is powerful, dark and mysterious, she is the incarnation of evil, the queen of darkness and hell: Maleficent.

In the world in which she lives, Maleficent is the evil incarnation, in its most demonic form. The day of the celebration of the birth of Princess Aurora, Maleficent was not invited to the ceremony, but she invites herself by arriving in the midst of the throne room, arriving through a magical blaze. Using the pretext of not having been invited, Maleficent decided to cast a spell on the princess, predicting that the day of his sixteenth birthday, Aurora would die because of the needle of a distaff. However, her plan is countered by the fairies who uses a ploy to take Aurora and raise her as their daughter without telling anyone. For sixteen years, Maleficent, furious, is looking for the princess with the help of her army of creatures, but without success. But because of a clumsy of the fairies, Maleficent manages to find Aurora and managed to ensure that Aurora pricks her finger on a distaff appeared like magic. But thanks to the fairies, Aurora doesn't die and is in a deep sleep. But Maleficent having discovered this, ensures that Aurora can not wake up, and for this, Maleficent captures Prince Phillipe, to keep him prisoner forever.

Maleficent has not really specific purpose. She does evil, for evil. Nothing's easier. As queen of evil, she lives only to spread darkness and desolation, leading an army of evil creatures. Maleficent is evil, but she has a certain charm. She can speak in a calm and gentle manner as in the beginning of the film, but it reinforces her demonic and sadistic side, because she seems to play with the mind of her enemies and enjoy to feel their fear and pain. Because yes of course, Maleficent inspires fear, even to her own troops. When she arrives in the throne room, everyone is terrified by seeing Maleficent appearing. Even the fairies seem to fear her, and even three fairies do not seem able to overcome her. Maleficent is rather beautiful, but a demonic beauty, and her gaze is piercing and terrifying. The eyes of evil. The horns on her head also indicated that she is the devil incarnate in the world of Disney. And what I can say too, it's her outfit is Metal! 

Maleficent has many powers, at least, all the powers of evil. She is able to teleport in a blaze of green flames, summon lightning and use it as a weapon, make appear a forest of thorns .... Maleficent is capable of launching curses that will come true, but can be countered by the powers of the fairies. But one of his most powerful powers is ..... Her ability to turn herself into a dragon! Yes, dragon! Maleficent is not only a devil, but she is also a dragon, making her even more dangerous. In her dragon form, Maleficent can spit out powerful jets of green flames, and seems invincible. Only weapons steeped in the magic of fairies seem able to kill her.

During the sixteen years in the film, Maleficent does not age, but this is not surprising, because as an entity and embodiment of evil, she is certainly immortal.

For being become one of Disney's most iconic villains, the incarnation and the power of evil, Maleficent deserves her place in the pantheon of the most memorable villains.

DiscoveRock Edition N°8 - Airbourne

Hellcome, sorry for not being here but I was busy with my correspondence courses, but for the first day of March, here are the daily edition of DiscoveRock.

For March 2016, I present a Australian hard rock band, formed in 2003: Airbourne, formed by the brothers Joel and Ryan O'Keeffe. Airbourne is in my personal Big Four of my favorite bands of all time. The band's style is Hard Rock, with old school sounds, inspired by the music of AC / DC. But for those who ask, no, Airbourne is not a tribute band of AC / DC. Airbourne is a band that has created his own style and his own songs, and whose the reputation grows up, year after year. With already three albums to their credit and a fourth in preparation, Airbourne has already made a name in the rock world, and for me, this group is a future legendary band who can become one of the most important groups in the world in the coming years. If you love the music 100% Hard Rock, old school, with lively rhythms, with unbridled riffs and atmosphere Rock N Roll, you'll love Airbourne.
