Top 5: My favorite "monsters" bands

It's no longer a secret, I love the masked groups since forever. I love their music, and I also like their visual image they create to give a unique style to their group. Here are my five favorite "monsters" bands.

Dragons and Dragonology: a big passion

When I have time, I spend a lot of time studying dragons. It's not an obsession, but a big passion. I learned a lot about dragons with my book on dragonology, I can even say a few phrases in dragon language.
Many people say that dragonology is not a true science, I do not agree with them.

At my home, nobody speaks the dragon language, so I think I'm the only one in my family. I do not consider this as a gift, but as an acquaintance. I learned the language of the dragons, like when you learn a language at school. I do not consider myself as a dragonologist accomplished, I still have much to learn. But I already know some things, such as the Asian dragons are much less aggressive than their European counterparts. I also learned that dragons have actually existed on earth! this might sound crazy, but it is quite possible that the dragons are not out of our imagination, but they have been designed from creatures that have really existed.

What I find a shame is that the dragonology is not taken more seriously, and is not considered a true science. For me, is a true science. If Dragonologist was a job, that's what I'd become. But life is so. 

But I do not give up and I continue my research.

The Return of my Awa in my dreams

For a while, Awa was no longer appeared in my dreams and suddenly she reappeared last night. A short but beautiful dream.

I was in my house, it was dark and I was alone. I go down the stairs and at the same time, I hear strange noises in the walls. When I arrived in the living room, I see a dark figure standing behind the window. She passes through the glass as a ghost and I recognize her. It's Awa in her outfit of the Arockalypse era. When I say her name, she smiled and approached me.

When she is close to me, I can not help but tell him that I love him with all my heart. And she replies "I already know, my Rider." 

And then my heart was packed and I could not say anything. When she at put her arms around my neck and she looked at me, I told myself, this is it, she will kiss me. And I put my hands on her waist and as I looks her into your eyes. And when our lips touch, I woke up. It was really frustrating, but at the same time, I was happy to have seen Awa near me. This proves that my love for her will never die.

How I became a fan of metal?

This article describes my course, which says how I went from small passionate about music, at very big fan of rock and metal.

My passion for monsters started very early, when I have not even another 10 years, my passion for music came later. In 2005 (I was 12), I became a fan of an artist named Moby, I consider him whoever did got me into the world of music (thank you very much Moby). I still continue to listen Moby, especially his two songs "Natural Blues" and "Bodyrock", my two favorites, that I listen with great nostalgia.

Then, in 2008 (a year before I discovered Lordi), I begin to enter to the realm of rock and metal, by becoming a fan of three groups in particular: AC/DC, Motorhead and Nirvana (yes, I have discovered KISS in 2012). In short, AC/DC, Motorhead and Nirvana are my three favorite bands, until ...... 

In 2009, I made a discovery that will change my life forever: a Finnish hard rock band, Lordi, whose members are monsters. The lightning strike was immediate and I became a fan, and it has never stopped since, and it never stops. But I had to wait four years before attending my first concert of Lordi, but it was worth the wait.

And in the years that followed, I did not stop to discover new bands, I liked some, and some I did not like (it can happen, but I will mention not the names so as not to annoy people who might be fans of these groups, I do not want any trouble and I'm not here to look for trouble).

To quote some of the bands I like there: 

Lordi, KISS, Indica, Ghost, Slipknot, Nightwish, AC/DC, Nirvana, Motorhead, Daft Punk, Stupeflip, Seether, Rammstein, Deathstars, Trivium, Hollywood Undead, Megadeth, Metallica and many others.

That looks like my story, how I became the French fan, a little crazy, with a vivid imagination, who writing stuff a little crazy at times, and that seems completely disconnected from reality. Thank you very much for reading this article, I love you all. Kiss. :)

KISS meets the phantom of the park: the KISS movie

WARNING SPOILER: if you have not seen this movie, do not read this article.


There is not long, I watched the movie "KISS meets the phantom of the park" a TV movie released in 1978 and featuring the famous rock band, KISS, in their own role.
A big thank you to Emily and Brayden, my two Canadian friends, for making me discover this film.

The story takes place at Magic Mountain, a sophisticated amusement park or KISS must give a concert. The story seems to be normal, when appears Abner Devereaux, the creator of most of the inventions of the park and a man who seems to be quite normal. But he hides his true nature. Indeed, Abner is a mad scientist who has his own laboratory hidden in a sort of bunker, or he manufactures robots that look very much like real humans. Abner kidnaps people in the park and turn them into muppets who obey his orders. KISS gives his concert quite normally, but after they get to know Melissa, a pretty young woman, whose boyfriend, Sam, has just disappeared (kidnapped by Abner). 

We also discover that KISS are not mere human beings. Each member has special powers and they pull their forces of four talismans, each representing a symbol of a group member. KISS will do everything to stop Devereaux, but the scientist will send these robots to face the band. Abner seems to have an interest to capture KISS, then create perfect replicas of them.

Peter Criss is the Catman. He is able of making great leaps and knows to fight melee. But we saw no other powers with him. I think that they would have to add him a power, as a night vision or the ability to run faster than a normal human, like a cat.

Ace Frehley is the Spaceman. He is able to teleport or he see fit and send small flashes with his fingers. He at also a great agility and talent to fight as Peter. Ace is a little bit the "comic" of the group, who says funny phrases like "Hi Curly". And of course, we can hear his famous laugh during the film.

Paul Stanley is the Starchild. He can shoot lasers from his eyes, take control of people's minds or listen to conversations remotely. Paul seems to be somewhat the leader of the group, leading the others to the den of Devereaux. Paul also knows very well fight.

Gene Simmons is the Demon. He can spit flames from his mouth, has great physical strength and a resistance to hits. He can also growl like a monster and has a more resonant voice than the other members of the group. We could say that he is the least human of the band. Gene seems to be the darkest of the group, hardly speaking and always having a rather dark look. But hey, he is the demon.

In conclusion, if you love KISS, you'll love this film. Me, I loved it. I would put the maximum score: 10/10.

Psychopath and Imaginative, two completely different things

You're probably wondering why this article has this title, well, this is for you to talk about a subject that has concerned me and also many people: being mistaken for a psychopath, while you just have an overactive imagination.

A psychopath is someone who lives in his own world, has a serious mental problem and can even be dangerous to others.

An Imaginative is someone who also lives in his own world, but is able to discern the true life of the imagination. Also, a person with a great imagination has not necessarily mental problems.

Unfortunately, people often tend to say that a person with too big or too delirious imagination, is a psychopath. That was my case was when I was in high school. With my imagination, the monsters that I drew, I've invented the stories with fantastic characters and also my taste for masked groups, horror movies and fictional killers, the others have often told me that I had a serious mental problem and one of them even said m'à one day, a phrase that has haunted me for weeks "you one day, you'll end up in prison or in an insane asylum."
Frankly, when you hear that, it hurts and I think it is still not healed in me.

A psychopath and a imaginative are not the same. This is completely different, there is no similarity between the two.
So when you see a person with a lot of imagination, do not judge him or her too quickly. Thank you.
And all those who have experienced the same problem as me, or who know at present, I am wholeheartedly with you and I encourage you with all my strength, I want you to be happy and most importantly, do not be ashamed of what you are.

Lordi Army, KISS Army, Ministry of Ghost ..... the groups I am a member

Inevitably, as mega fan of Lordi, I had to join the ranks of the Army Lordi. I always stay true fan, and I will remain for all my life. I will never leave the Army Lordi. The Lordi Army is the first group that I joined.

Same for KISS. As a big fan of one of the groups of the world's most legendary rock, I also had to join the ranks of the KISS Army. As Lordi, I feel very proud to be part of this gathering of fans.

This is the group that I joined more recently: the Ghost American Ministries. I have since joined a short time, but I'm already a huge fan. I am a child of Ghost and proud of it.

Predators: my brothers

I have often noticed that in games Aliens vs Predator, people were often on the side of the humans. I do not say that humans are bad, they have good weapons that's true, but I think i'm one of the few to put me on the side of the Predators. I consider these hunters like my brothers, and I feel close to them. If I could, I would become one of them and I would go hunting with them on other planets. It is a dream that has already lasted several years, and never stop.

I love everything about the Predators. To me, these are the dominant alien race in the galaxy. Their armors and helmets are really beautiful, their armament is really powerful and very cool too. And the Predators are perfect killing machines. They kill their prey efficiently, with speed and deadly accuracy. My passion for aliens began very early, but the Predators have become my favorites with the Necromorphs and the Xenomorphs.

In the game, I often take control of a Predator, and I gave free rein to my hunting instinct. I stalking my prey relentlessly, without being spotted and I kills very quickly. I'm not a cruel, but when I see the corpse of one of my brothers died in combat, I get really bad and I always want to know who exactly at does that, to kill him.

2013: My two Lordi concerts

In 2013, I attended not one, but two concerts Lordi. I could see them three times by going to Hellfest, but I could not go unfortunately (shit money problems)

My first concert Lordi took place April 9, 2013, and it is a date I will never forget. The evening is to remain engraved in my memory. In the morning when I woke up, I thought in my head "this is it, this is the big day." I go to my formation, with one desire: to be already evening. All day I have think to that, and more the end of the day approached, and I was untenable.
After work, not worth going home to get my stuff, everything is already in the car and I rush to Savigny le Temple, for the concert.
The concert room was not too big nor too small, but it was complete.

After waiting several minutes, with the heart beating strong, the lights suddenly went out, and there, my heart was packed and I could not prevent me screaming like a psychopath, like the rest of the room. The group of the first part, Reverse Grip, at begin the concert. I did not know this group and yet I really love their style. 

And then to Lordi is enter on the stage. A magical and unforgettable entrance. Mana comes first and sits behind the battery. Hella appears in second, leaving of her box doll. And then the rest of the group arrives and they start the concert with "We're not bad for the kids (we're worse)."

I was very well placed. I clearly saw Ox, which was right in front of me. He is awesome in videos, but even more in real. Mr. Lordi and Amen are amazing too, just like Mana. And Hella is simply superb, as soon as I saw her in real life for the first time, my heart is packed. 

We could hear the greatest hits like "Who's your Daddy", "Devil is a Loser", "Blood Red Sandman", "It Snows in Hell", "Would you love a Monsterman" and of course "Hard Rock Hallelujah, "I sang like crazy during the concert. 

In any case, I was really sad when it was over, but a very great metal night.

Then, in October, at my birthday, I discovered a gift, which I did not expect at all: tickets for the concert Lordi which took place December 11, 2013. At first, I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was not dreaming. Again thank you to my parents for this wonderful gift. And for this concert, I've put my uniform of Lordi soldier, with my mask of Jason Voorhees.

This concert was also really great. I was able to see again with pleasure all group members (especially Hella <3). And I had the chance to hear their songs, always amazing, but with supplements this time, as the song "Chainsaw Buffett" (incidentally, I have a good laugh when Mr. Lordi to hit the girl in the back with an ax) and also the song from the movie Dark Floors "Beast Loose in Paradise." I've also give a message to Mr. Lordi, from a friend who lives in Canada. Mr. Lordi to saw my message and I am very happy to that.

And of course, I could not help but yell loudly "Hella, I love you!"

In any case Lordi, thank you very much for those two amazing concerts that brought me much happiness. I hope to see you again soon in France for a third concert. Rock Yeah!

My foreign friends: one year that all started

This month is special because it is from January, 2013, I've beginning to get acquainted with foreign friends on Facebook, and that at continued throughout the year. Wonderful people that I have the chance to know, who understand me and with whom I can talk and share what i love. I hope someday I will have the chance to meet them and to talk to them with my own voice. Once, somebody say me "but if you do ever seen them, they are not true friends." Well I'm totally disagree. I consider you all as my real friends :)
There is one year that all at begin, and for me it is a very good memory. This article is for my foreign friends, I dedicate to all.

We are fans......We are friends!

Ghost: The lords of the dead

For those who do not know, Ghost is a Swedish Doom Metal band consisting of 6 members, first by the Nameless Ghouls (2 guitarists, 1 bassist, 1 drummer and 1 keyboardist). These darkness soldiers are led by the terrifying and dark Papa Emeritus II, Pope demonic with a skeleton face and holding a scepter in his hand.

Although the group has only released two albums for the moment, their popularity is growing at an incredible speed and more and more people join the ranks of the children of Ghost. The ritual is still ongoing and it is not ready to stop. I discovered the group in mid-2013, in listening the clip "Secular Haze" on youtube, and I'm immediately became a fan and I remain a fan forever.

I will describe the style of Ghost as "dark and melodic." But with their songs and outfits, the group has often big problems, especially with the people of the religious world, and the group even been banned in some countries. People should stop judging by appearance. This is not because I listen Ghost, I dress with dark clothing or I wear masks of monsters that I am necessarily a Satanist. But hey, there are people like that....

But Ghost will always have its fans to support them, listen them, buy their albums and go see them in concert.

I've seen Lordi twice in 2013, and I still want to see them. I never tire of listening and watching them is just pure happiness. Concerts hell with rock metal atmosphere. Lordi, please come back in France.

Meet my foreign friends

The year 2013 was a year of meet for me. I met some great friends who live in other countries, but with whom I discuss good and we understand one each other. We've tastes similar for some things. In any case, they are all wonderful. I can not name them all because they are a lot, but they are all very good friends. I hope to meet them one day, as a fan but also as a friend.

Form a heavy metal band

Since forever, I want to form a heavy metal band, inspired by horror movies and my favorite bands. It is a dream for me, and I want it to happen.

My Eviloves

I know I already made ​​a list of women of rock and metal, but this time, this list shows the women I consider my "eviloves", ie, women who have a special place in my heart.

Now, it is no longer a secret. Awa was my first evilove. As soon as I saw her for the first time, in 2009, I fell in love with her. I do not know how to explain but it is a moment I will never forget. I could not to turn my eyes and her voice has mesmerized me for several minutes. Since that day, I love her and I will still love her. A beautiful and terrifying face, beautiful black hair, captivating eyes, a beautiful voice and a great talent for keyboard. Yes, Awa is all of that, and i love her from the bottom of my heart, forever.

Hella

I admit, at first when Awa is gone of Lordi, I had a lot of sadness and a lot of trouble accepting her departure from the group. When Hella is came, I had a little hard to accept her, but over time I learned to know her character and see how she is. Well, I think she is a worthy successor of Awa. Sexy, beautiful, a great talent for the keyboard as Awa. Hella has become one of my eviloves after I saw her for the first time in real life, during my first concert Lordi, April 9, 2013. With Awa, Hella is one of the first metal women in my heart.

Johanna "Jonsu" Salomaa 

Lead singer of the Finnish band Indica, Johanna is simply a goddess out of a fantasy world for me. An angelic face, a beautiful and melodic voice. With big dresses she sometimes wears in her videos, you could take her for a goddess of the forest. Although I do not know Indica very long time, Johanna makes my heart beat as fast as possible and I hope one day I can see her in real life and hear her voice more closely.

Tarja Turunen

Shortly after discovering Lordi, I turned me to a other band, Nightwish. And then it was another revelation for me. Tarja Turunen is perhaps no longer member of Nightwish, but her angelic voice continues to make me dream. Tarja's voice is as unique as its beauty, and I think I am not alone in thinking this.

Slymenstra Hymen

Beware gentlemen, here is a woman that it must not be disturbed, otherwise you get a ass-kicking so masterful. Slyemnstra Hymen, former member of Gwar group is for me, the warrior woman. Great charm, sexy and warriors outfits, a talent to spit flames and dancing, and a beautiful voice too. Especially gentlemen, do not take her for a little helpless woman, you might regret it.

Lzzy Hale

Young. Beautiful. Talented. These words define well the young Lzzy Hale, lead singer of the group Halestorm. She can have a soft and calm voice, but also a more powerful and serious singing. She is also very beautiful and I find she fact younger than her real age (29). She is also a great guitarist.

Floor Jansen

Floor Jansen is the current singer of Nightwish. Like her predecessors, she has a great charm and a very beautiful voice. Floor Jansen really deserves to remain among them and i hope she will stay forever.
