RIP Mr. Lemmy Kilmister - Farewell and tribute to my idol and Rock master

It's a horrible way to finish the year, but I have to do it, as a fan but also as a man.
Lemmy, Motörhead leader, rock legend and my idol sadly passed away this December 28, 2015, just four days after his 70th birthday.
Lemmy was my first idol when I discovered the rock, and he has always been. He was a musician and singer of exceptional talent, but also a man with a big heart and a exemplary humanity. The world has not only lost a legendary artist, he also lost the man who best represents our species, for his humanity and his kindness. I am wholeheartedly with his associates, the guitarist Phil Campbell and the drummer Mikkey Dee. A page of history has just been turned forever.
Lemmy has dedicated his entire life to Rock N Roll, he would not stop playing until his last breath, and that's what he did. He did it, until the end. He was a true warrior in his own way. I'm happy for him, he was able to live his life as he wanted, and what I hope is that he did not suffer too much before leaving our world, to join the pantheon of the gods of Rock.
My heart is broken and destroyed, my face drowned in tears, and my mind is with the family and friends of Lemmy. It's with the biggest and deepest sadness that I say farewell to Lemmy, my idol, who will join the rock gods in heaven. Lemmy, thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have done, for being an example to me and millions of fans worldwide. You remain in our hearts and minds forever.
Motörheadbanger for Life!! \m/ :'( </3

As tribute to my idol, I made a minute of silence for him:

Motörhead for Life!! \m/
Lemmy is Rock, and Rock is Lemmy! \m/

Merry Christmas 2015!

And here already Christmas !! The year 2015 is passed at high speed, I did not see the time passing. Today and tonight it's party, I hope you have a great time with your families and friends, hope you received great gifts and you feel very well (for those who drive, be careful on the road).
For me, well, this morning: opening the gifts. I'm 22 but I keep my little traditions like when I was a child. I had the gifts I had ordered, plus a bonus gift that I found yesterday's. Tonight was bowling with the family. I won one of the two parts, and I made two strikes. So proud XD. And after the bowling, aperitif and dinner with the family, while listening to music and laughing together. In short, the family festive atmosphere as I like it.
Again, to all my friends, my family, and to everyone too, Merry Christmas, have good and strong times! Hell Yeah! \m/

Neytiri: since 6 years in my heart, and I still see you

This is a special day for me, because today, I celebrate the 6th anniversary of my meeting with the characters who changed my life and my heart of fanboy. She also became my first fictional love: the Na'vi warrior princess, Neytiri.

At each birthday, I reminds myself without problem the day when I saw her for the first time:
I was going to the cinema of the town near from my village to go to see the movie Avatar, a phenomenon upon its release, and I was eager to see this. The film was really beautiful and I'm falling in love with the universe. But I also fell in love with the main female character of the story, Neytiri, the Na'vi princess. From the first scene or she appeared, I was interested and intrigued by the character, and also I thought in my head "Oh she is very beautiful", immediately on seeing her. But it's in the scene where she comes to help Jake Sully, and she fights with Viperwolves, I was really impressed and I fell in love with her.
So she has become my favorite character in the film and all the Avatar universe. Of course, in watching the film, the first time, I was worried that in the final battle, she was killed, but no, Neytiri survived and even killed the main villain. My lovely warrior princess <3
So sometimes, I looks at the stars through the window of my room, and I think to Neytiri, by imagining her, on Pandora, also watching the night sky, and thinking of me.
I see you Neytiri, forever and ever, with my eyes, my heart and my mind, as I know you see me.
I love you, my Sci-Fi Queen <3

Star Wars: The Force Awakens: My point of view and feelings about the movie

SPOILER ALERT: If you have not seen the movie, don't read the article.

Wednesday, December 16, I went to the cinema, with my mom and my sister, to finally see the most anticipated film of the year: the seventh film of the legendary saga Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
I will make a summary of what I thought of the film, the new characters, my positive and negative points, and the note that I give to the film, to say whether I am happy or not.

Of course, I had to get a picture in front of the beautiful poster that was inside the cinema.

Once the Lucasfilm logo appeared on the screen, I was already in a trance, and when the Star Wars logo has appeared, with music from the intro that started, I was smiling like a little child, very excited and happy to finally be there to see the film.
In my personal opinion, I really loved the movie from beginning to end. I am not bored for a second. The universe is remain true, with some novelties, but great. New characters are all welcome and interesting. My favorites are Rey, a girl who plunders of wrecks to survive in a desert, tomboy, sexy and ready to hit where it hurts to defend herself. And she is sensitive to the Force. Badass <3. And also the Captain Phasma, commander of the new stormtroopers, as well as first female villain of Star Wars! Badass <3. The other characters, Kylo Ren, Finn, BB-8, Poe Dameron and Snoke are also really interesting and each of them has his place in the movie. No one is useless.
Finn made me laugh at first, because he is a little guy, afraid, who always tries to flee, but he is also disturbed by what he saw and he questioned himself to discover who he really is. A deep and very endearing character. Kylo Ren is a very interesting and particular character, because he is torn between the dark and light side, without really knowing what direction to take. Sometimes we feel sorry for him because it's just a lost young man who was been brainwashed, and that worships Darth Vader. The only disappointment I had, is at the final battle scene, when Ren was defeated, a little too easily, for me. But he is not dead, suggesting that he will come back, stronger. BB-8 is really funny, he made laugh several times, and I hope he will be in team with C3-PO and R2-D2, and want to see all the three together in a mission, it could be fun.
And of course, what a joy to see the iconic characters of the saga coming back in this film. Han Solo, Chewbacca, Leia Organa, C3-PO, R2-D2 .... And at the end of the movie, surprise, Luke Skywalker! Throughout the film I felt such emotion on seeing again these characters that have rocked my childhood when I discovered the first Star Wars movies. That night, I was dropped back to childhood.
For me, The Force Awakens is a great return of the saga, and a very promising first movie of a new trilogy that is epic announcement. Han, Leia and Chewbacca, fortunately, their mentality has not changed. Han is a little wiser than before, and he seems most respected the Jedi and the Force.

My Positive points:
- The universe has remained faithful, and the music has not changed much and it also remains very true to the Star Wars universe. Awesome.
- The New characters and the return of the old characters, and the meeting between the two generations. Great idea, I love it!
- Action, drama, humor, tenderness ..... Everything that makes a Star Wars movie, and it's present in this one too.
- References to the original trilogy, for example the wrecks of Star Destroyers crushed in the desert, remnants of the old Empire, and also, the helmet of Darth Vader, mummified and charred, in the Kylo Ren's room. Wow!
- The end is epic! When Rey is on the planet, and meets Luke Skywalker. This moment has an intensity and incredible emotion. After that, you ant to see more! I want the sequel right now damn!

My Negative points:
The character of Captain Phasma is cool, but unfortunately not enough exploited and appears very little. And no fighting scene with her. Too bad, it could have been cool though. Maybe in the next film.
- Warning, Big Spoil: The death of Han Solo! Fuck! You should have seen my head when it happened, I was shocked, frozen in place and mouth open, and all the rest of the room too. The scene is dramatic, really sad. It was to add drama to the story, ok, but Han was one of the iconic characters and one of the most beloved of the saga. I don't deny that scene, it was played very well and worked, but for me to kill Han Solo was a bad idea. And poor Chewbacca and Leia, damn, I was sad for them! :'(

But still, The Force Awakens is a very good film, I look forward to seeing it again when I'll buy it on DVD. I give it a score of 9/10.
Star Wars is back motherfucker! \m/

I fell in love with the Light and the Dark side

Don't worry, there is no spoils in this article.
Wednesday of this week, I'm going to finally see The Force Awakens, the new film of the Star Wars saga. I expected this film since the beginning of the year, and although the wait was worth it. The movie was great!!! Not perfect, few details that have displeased me a little, but so great nonetheless. I was not bored for a second. I will not say anything more, just my personal opinion, oh just one thing (No it's not the spoil, be reassured): now I'm divided, because with this new film, I fell in love with two new characters. One is on the side of light: Rey <3 (Played by Daisy Ridley). And the other is in the dark side: Captain Phasma <3 (Played by Gwendoline Christie).

The new SW characters I'm waiting the most

Tomorrow night I go to the cinema, to finally see the long awaited Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. I can hardly contain my impatience. Do not worry, after seeing the film, I will not write about it on my blog, because I don't want to spoil (I also want to stay alive).
Who says new film, says new characters, and this time, many new characters announced for the new movie, to our delight (except the purists). So among these new characters, some attract me more than others, but I will mention the two that intrigue me most and for who I'm waiting the most.

Captain Phasma
Finally, a female villain in Star Wars! And she's a stormtrooper commander! Very very interesting and badass. For me, who have always liked strong women, I have a good feeling for this character. I already bought the action figure of Captain Phasma, it's to say how much my feeling is good. Nothing is known about this character because she is not much shown in the trailers, so I'll find out everything tomorrow.

Rey
Another intriguing character, but on the side of the resistance this time. According to the scenario, she is plundering the wrecks, which seems logical because in one of the trailers, she is seen rummaging the wreck of a Star Destroyer. But otherwise, it is difficult to really determine the role she will play, because no information was showed (which is normal after all). But hey, I'm anxious to see what is her role in the story and I hope to have a good surprise with her too.

Orden Ogan: To The End album review

The album which I makes the review is already out since 2012, but it remains my favorite album of Orden Ogan, and I listened it again today. Always a pure delight for the ears, so I wanted to give my opinion and say what I think.

When you listen to the album, you are immediately plunged into another world shaped by the melodic and powerful songs of the group. Orden Ogan has the particularity to create really epic and powerful songs that bring out all our wants and takes us into a fantasy world, but also quieter and folk songs, equally beautiful and catchy. In addition, the album To The End has for them: the cold, ice, winter, which adds even more degree fantastic and catchy to the songs. For all fans of Power / Fantasy Metal, Orden Ogan is the ideal group and this album is a luxury choice for a collection. In addition, the theme of winter reminds me of one of my favorite universes, Game of Thrones, and the white walkers. By listening to this album, I put the loud noise and I had the urge to headbanging, and pretend to play guitar.
For me, no song is to throw in this album. The most epic and my favorites, in my personel choices are "The Things we believe in", "To the End," "Land of the Dead," "Dying Paradise" and "The Ice Kings."
Their last album is great, but for me, To The End remains the best album of Orden Ogan. If you're a fan of Fantasy and Metal, this album is made for you. I highly recommend it.

Songs of the album:
1. The Frozen Few
2. To the End
3. The Things we believe In
4. Land of the Dead
5.The Ice Kings
6. Till the stars cry out
7. This World of Ice
8. Dying Paradise
9. Mystic Symphony
10. Angels War
11. Take this light

Metal vs Politicals: an eternal conflict

Metal music against politics. A conflict we know all and drags yet, unfortunately.
Most policies say that Metal music is shocking, violent and incites to hatred. Hellfest, the biggest Metal festival in France and one of the biggest in the world, is falsely accused of being a place of satanic gathering.
They are wrong completely. This is not because we have taken the devil as our emblem and that our sign are the horns of the devil, that does not mean we are Satanists. We do it because it is our way to identify ourselves and to distinguish us from all other. Metal is not just music, it's a lifestyle. For example, I myself am a metalhead, I dresses myself with metalheads clothes, I listen to my favorite Metal bands in my room and I go to concerts when I can, I'm headbanging, I make the sign of the horns of the devil and I like to say that the darkness is my light and that the number 666 is my favorite number. And I'm a Satanist? No, I am a kind and gentle man, who has no reason to hurt people. I enjoy my life with my family and friends, while being very proud of what I am. And it's the same for millions of other metalheads. During the concerts where I went, I met a lot of people I didn't know. They are not like politicals imagine or want to make imagine to the others people. Metalheads are not bloodthirsty brutes who want to destroy everything. NO! All metalheads I have met and seen are really nice people, funny, with whom I can speak, and who enjoy every fucking second that goes, in having a good time with their friends, and I do the same.
But that, most of the political and people don't understand, reject us and want to try to ban our music and our way of life. Ourselves, metalheads, we maybe have darkness and the devil as symbols, but we don't want to destroy life. Instead, we celebrate the life and joy of life through our music! They try to make us look like monsters to the eyes of people, but by denigrating our music and those who listen it, politicals reveal what they are: ignorant and intolerant people, unable to accept the differences of life and tastes.

Now for all the enemies of Metal music and who would try to prohibit it and deprive us of our way of life, I have a message for you:

Villain of the Month - Edition N°5

SPOILER ALERT: If you have not yet watched the movies, don't read this article.

Hellcome again humans, for this new and last edition 2015 of "The Villain of the Month."

For this last edition of the year, I decided to talk about my favorite female character of the horror universe. She's even my horror crush <3. She is terrifying, no one can escape her, she is everywhere, and darkness are her ally and her weapon: Kayako Saeki, sometimes called "The Grudge".

Before, Kayako was human and lived in the city of Tokyo, with her husband Takeo, and their son Toshio. They seemed to lead a normal family life, yet one day Kayako fell in love with another man, and this love turned into obsession, to the point that she spoke all the time about him in her diary. But one night, Takeo discovered Kayako's diary and learned that his wife loved another man. Takeo was very impulsive, and under the influence of anger, he killed his family. He broke the neck of Kayako and drowned Toshio and the cat in the bathtub, before committing suicide by hanging. But in Japan, a legend says that if a murder is committed in a fit of rage and extreme hatred, a curse falls upon the place of the tragedy, containing all the anger, and killing anyone who dares to come. That's what happened. Kayako returned from the dead in the form of a vengeful ghost filled with hate. Since then, Kayako haunts the house, now cursed, and kills all those who dare enter the house.

Kayako has many powers, the exact number is uncertain, but she has many. Her hair can grow to infinity and move like a giant octopus, to encircle, catch and smother his victims. Darkness is the weapon of Kayako, and she knows how to use it to terrorize her preys before killing them. Kayako is also able to "transform" her victims into zombies, which she uses as puppets. But one of the most terrifying powers of Kayako is her ability to appear everywhere (even from inside of a clothe or a photo, as seen in the second movie, or in the hair of a girl, as seen in the first movie). There's nowhere to hide or escape her. As a vengeful ghost, Kayako is filled with hatred and anger that killed her, and now she uses it to kill people. She has sometimes an extreme violence. In the first movie, we can see for example a victim of Kayako, with the lower jaw torn off.
Kayako can not speak, but she emits a little muffled and terrifying sound, like a death rattle of pain, as if she continued to suffer constantly. In fact, this cry is the last sound she did after having her neck broken by her husband. This cry has become a symbol of The Grudge, as Kayako is now considered as an icon of horror, and I'm really happy about it, because there are not many iconic female monsters in the horror universe, except now with Kayako Saeki and Samara Morgan (The Ring). Moreover, Kayako often moves by crawling on the ground, in making crack her broken neck and walking in the manner of a puppet dislocated, which adds even more to her terrifying and gruesome appearance.
Kayako Saeki is the main and central character in the world of The Grudge, and for now, no one has yet managed to destroy her. Kayako appears invincible, and in the second film, the house was destroyed, but it didn't destroyed the curse, quite the contrary. Kayako's mother, a kind of healer, said that now that the house is destroyed, Kayako was released and her power will grow more and more. It's true that in the second film, Kayako appears now able to follow her prey around the world (for example, she will kill some of the characters in the United States). Kayako is therefore the embodiment of evil in the world of The Grudge, and from what her mother said, Kayako would be able to spread her evil power over the world. So badass!

To become an icon of horror and one of the most terrifying and frightening monsters of all time, Kayako Saeki deserves her place in the list of the most iconic villains.

See you now in 2016 for the next edition of the "Villain of the Month"

Ghost and Dead Soul at la Cigale, Paris: My 2nd Ritual

Last night, I was back in Paris, to go to my last concert of the year 2015. I was at la Cigale, to see one of my favorite Swedish bands. A group that I had already seen last year, but I'm never tired of seeing them: Ghost.
It was the first time I went to La Cigale, and I must say it's a really beautiful concert hall, and the architecture was perfect for a group like Ghost. I saw my friend Elodia in the concert room and we saw the show together. It's better to have friends with you rather than being alone, it's even more fun.

Dead Soul \m/

The opening act band was also a Swedish group, called Dead Soul. I had listened to some of their clips on youtube a few days before the concert, and I was eager to see them in live. I liked their style, Electro / Rock mix, dark and melodic, with the powerful voice of the singer. The style and the group name are well find for a tour with Ghost. Although for my part, even if I find that the public had a little trouble to react at first, they enjoyed Dead Soul as opening act. Great job Dead Soul, you rock. \m/

Ghost \m/

Of course, when the intro of Ghost started and the group appeared on the stage, the crowd exploded completely and the atmosphere became overexcited. I remembered seeing a video of Ghost, abroad, who had made a minute of silence during a concert, in tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks from November 13, and it had really touched me. This concert in Paris last night was a really special and important day for them and for the show they did to us, I thank them a million times. There have been several mosh pits during the concert, and I was caught in one of them. I've been shoved in all directions and I got my feet crushed. Painful, but I didn't let that spoil my evening.

Last year, I had seen Ghost in broad daylight, and they did not have their decor or their light effects, so it looks less impressive. But last night, I could see them in their element: the dark, and it's fucking beautiful. Ghost is not just an auditory spectacle, but also visual. And, surprise at the beginning of the concert: Alpha was back. Great! :D
Of course, Papa Emeritus III do not lack of humor and make laugh several times the crowd with his allusions "a bit extreme" XD
For the songs, well, they played classics like "Ritual", "Year Zero", "Ghuleh / Zombie Queen" and "Monstrance Clock", and of course they played songs from their new album, like "Cirice ","From the Pinnacle to the Pit"or "Absolution". I will put the full setlist at the end of the article.
They ended the concert with Monstrance Clock of course, and damn, what a epic time it was. All the crowd (including myself), hands outstretched in the air, singing with Papa Emeritus, all in choirs. A moment that touched my metalhead's heart and remains engraved forever. Thank you again Ghost for this wonderful moment with you, and I hope to see you again as soon as possible. You love France, and France loves you!

Oh, and at the end of the concert, thanks to my friend Elodia, I managed to get a plectrum of Ghost, now that I keep preciously in my room. Another memory of this memorable Ritual.

My video of the show:

And as promised, the complete Ghost setlist of the show:
1. Spirit
2. From the Pinnacle to the Pit

3. Ritual
4. Con Clavi Con Dio
5. Per Aspera ad Inferi
6. Body and Blood
7. Devil Church
8. Cirice
9. Year Zero
10. Spöksonat
11. He Is
12. Absolution
13. Mummy Dust
14. Jigolo Har Megiddo
(accoustic)
15. Ghuleh/Zombie Queen
16. If You Have Ghosts
17. Monstrance Clock

Hero of the Month - Edition N°4

Hellcome humans for the last edition 2015 of "The Hero of the Month"

For the month of Christmas, and also to celebrate the release of Star Wars 7, the hero of this month is one of the most powerful, wise and respected of the whole Jedi order: Master Yoda.

(Yoda):"Approve this, I do."
(Me):"Yeah, thank you Master."

Yoda is a Jedi highly respected and also really powerful, so strong that he got his place to the council, and during the Clone Wars, he became a general, also very respected by his troops. Yoda is the older Jedi of all the order, he trained Jedi since over 800 years.Of the six films (soon seven), Yoda appears in 5 of them. It's in the episode 2 that for the first time, we finally see Yoda out his lightsaber and fight in duel against his former Padawan and now Sith Lord, Count Dooku. Yoda is one of the few Jedi to survive to the order 66 and finds refuge on the planet Dagobah, a giant and slimy swamp. But over the years of loneliness, Yoda has become a bit less serious and more joker, but when Luke Skywalker tells him its true purpose, Yoda shows that it has always remained the same and decides to teach him the way of the Jedi. But in episode 6, Yoda is so old that got sick and lost all his strength. And that's after revealing the true origins to Luke, the most powerful Jedi, lying in his bed, gently close his eyes. Yoda dies without suffering, and a few seconds later, his body disappears to merge with the Force. But anyway, Yoda is not really dead, as his mind becomes one with the Force, allowing it to live forever, as a spectrum, like Obi Wan, and later, Anakin Skywalker.

When we see Yoda for the first time, we can say that he is not dangerous, but it's just the opposite! This is the worst mistake to make: to underestimate Yoda. Despite its small size and advanced age, Yoda is a very agile warrior, powerful and truly formidable. He uses besides its small size to better dodge the blows of his enemies while jumping in the air with his lightsaber with really fast acrobatics. Yoda is even the only Jedi enough powerful to challenge Darth Sidious and have a chance to defeat him. If Sidious is the embodiment of evil in SW, Yoda represents the light and wisdom that fight the darkness.
Yoda has a very deep connection with the Force, so strong that over the years he seems to have acquired powers that only he possesses. For example, Yoda is able to see the future, but an uncertain way, because always in motion is the future. Yoda uses the Force as he wants, almost as a weapon (for example, in episode 3, he manages to knock out two guards of Sidious with a simple backhand, to send them against the wall)
Yoda is also the only one able to absorb the Force lightning with his hands, and even send them back at his enemies.
For me, Yoda is the perfect definition of "Don't be fooled by appearances."

To become a symbol of Star Wars, and one of the world's greatest sages and warriors, Yoda deserves his place in the list of the iconic heroes.

See you in 2016 for the next edition!

The Empire Strikes Back....Again!

Seeing the title of the article, you are probably wondering what I mean, well, I'll explain.
As everyone knows, Star Wars 7 is the biggest pending worldwide, even before the movie is released in theaters, the phenomenon is so intense that millions of dollars and euros of merchandising have already been won, even exceeding the budget of the film itself, before its release, this is a crazy thing!

SW is everywhere, I already know that since a long time, but today I could still see better. Tonight I went to the supermarket with my mother and my sister. Of course, the shelves were flooded with SW merchandising of all kinds, but the most impressive was the supermarket's entrance: a giant model of TIE Starfighter was installed, and two stormtroopers stood near the model, as for the defend. Nice promo for the movie. Many children made pictures near the stormtroopers, and of course I could not resist, and myself, I made a photo with one of them. Really cool. Jokingly, I thought "they hired Stormtroopers as new security guards to monitor the supermarket." And of course, in every corner of the store, there were posters of Star Wars, with on the posters, Kylo Ren and two stormtroopers. Them again! OMG, they are everywhere! :D

And even today, I added a new figure to my collection. Not a figurine GOT this time, but a SW figure: Captain Phasma, the female stormtrooper who will lead the troops in the new film. She looks really badass. This character really intrigues me and I want to discover her, hoping she will have an important role in the story. In addition, she is played by Gwendoline Christie, a very talented actress that I greatly admire.
For the figure, no disappointment. The size is correct, the figure is very well detailed, joints are fluid and not too fragile. In short, very good action figure for the collection of any fan of Star Wars.

May the Force be with you \m/

DiscoveRock Edition N°4 - Toybloid

Hellcome for this latest edition 2015 of "DiscoveRock." For this fourth edition, another French rock band very talented and I am sure, promises great things in the future: Toybloid. Classical formation: trio guitar, bass and drums, the band plays a Rock punchy, dynamic and makes you want to shake your head in all directions. For now, the group has released one EP, but its first official album is about to come out, and I look forward to it. I've seen Toybloid five times in live for now, and I never get tired. I have also met them several times, they are really open and nice, I like bands that are open like this to their fans and can talk to them. And I even appeared in a music video created by fans on the song "Not Alone," and my name appears in the credits at the end. It's a strange but really good feeling to appear in a clip of a group of which you are super fan. If you like the dynamic and punchy rock, you'll love Toybloid.

Members of the band:
- Lou: Guitars, vocals
- Mado: Bass
- Pierre: Drums

Horror Movies Analysis N°4: Apollo 18

SPOILER ALERT: If you have not yet watched the movie, don't read the article.

Hell'o humans, and hellcome to the section of the field of horror that is so dear to my heart. For this fourth edition, the horror takes place in space because it provides a low-budget film released in 2011, but that is for me one of the best horror films low budget, and is based about real facts: Apollo 18.

Quick synopsis of the film:
Apollo 17 was supposed to be the last trip to the moon. But in 1974, in the greatest secret, the government and NASA sent the Apollo 18 flight to the moon, or a crew of three astronauts: Anderson, Walker and Grey must install long-range spy systems on surface the moon, to spy on the Russians and avoid any Soviet attack. But in reality, the purpose of the mission is of a different kind and the government didn't warned the three astronauts about the truth. The astronauts will find themselves embarking into a nightmare in the space, that could take their life. In fact, the moon is not as deserted as it seems. The government had said that the other trips to the moon were canceled due to budget, but this is false: the truth is much more terrifying: there is something on the moon, and it does not want us in its territory.

Although the scenario seems basic, and the film did not have a good reception, it is not nearly as bad as many pretend to say. Personally, I loved this film and its context. Already, the fact that this film is inspired on real events such as traveling to the moon by the Apollo missions, it's great and well thought. It is true that the Apollo 18 trip was canceled, but to make a film and to make believe that it was held in secret.... Ingenious.
The actors, unknown, but very well played their roles. Another great idea is to have made a film on the moon, a world very remote of the earth, or find themselves lost our heroes, in an environment that is much more hostile and threatening than they thought. One of the most terrifying scenes is when they discover the body of a Russian cosmonaut, and understand that he is not dead by accident, but was killed by something. The Russians confirmed that they have sent only one man, so .... What killed this man?
The film is shot as a kind of documentary that has gone wrong and is filmed with a handheld camera to add more realism and make believe that it is of archival videos that show the nightmare that have experienced these men on the moon. Really well done, and even if it's fictional, it gives chills in the back.
And for the "villains" of the movie, well, no ultra futuristic alien civilization. The creatures of the film are very few views during the film, and only a few seconds per image, and most are blurry or poorly framed on purpose, so that the viewer is constantly asks about what it is. From what I've seen, these are kinds of parasites like spiders, that blend into the rocky environment of the moon and can parasitize humans, for entering their bodies and are very aggressive toward us, as if they didn't want us on their territory. At first I was scared that aliens from the movie are too futuristic or too human and break the macabre atmosphere of the film, but not, fortunately. Having created primitive parasites and thus create a sort of primitive fauna on the moon is brilliant and well thought out. And show that the government was aware from the beginning and had sent astronauts without warning them, adds suspense to the story.

So if you like science fiction, horror, silent and macabre atmospheres, and also the terrifying creatures, watch Apollo 18. Not the film of the year, but good entertainment nonetheless. I recommand it.

My first Nightwish / Arch Enemy concert. We were here!

Last night, another dream came true: I go to Paris, to the Accor Hotels Arena (formerly Bercy), to see a Metal concert with two of my favorite bands: Arch Enemy and Nightwish (Amorphis was planned too, but I've missed them, I will explain why, after)

With the tragic events that hit France shortly before, I admit that the D-Day morning, I was pretty stressed out, even a little anxious to return to Paris. But I did not let my fear dominate me, I did not cancel my ticket and I went. As I said above, Amorphis was also planned in the concert, but I was late because of traffic jams and with security checks, I lost a little more time. But I can understand the controls, with what happened and I am very reassured that the police is as much present, it's reassuring. Before entering, I was stressed, but as soon as I enter in the arena, the stress has disappeared, giving way to joy. I was in my universe. I can't say how was Amorphis unfortunately.

Arch Enemy <3 \m/

Fortunately I arrived in time to see the Death Metal band, Arch Enemy, a group of which I am more and more fan and I wanted to see them in live since some time. I have a crush on the singer of the group, Alissa White-Gluz, she is among my favorite metal singers <3. Arch Enemy are really impressive, both on CD and live. Before Nightwish, they put a crazy atmosphere and heat the room properly. I thinks that Arch Enemy managed to conquer Paris and the heart of the French people, as we conquered their hearts, because they were really happy to be here.

Nightwish <3 \m/

And then, of course, the star group of the evening happened: one of the best known Finnish bands in the world, and also the reference of the Symphonic Metal: Nightwish! I wait since 2013 to see them in live, and my dream came true.
As Alissa, I also have a crush on the new Nightwish singer, Floor Jansen <3. She has such a beautiful voice, I was blown away several times ..... And she' so beautiful too <3

Nightwish played several of my favorite songs, like Nemo, Elan, Ghost Love Score, While your lips are still red, Sleeping Sun ..... And many others. The means were here: flaming explosions, fireworks, giant screens behind the stage that showed beautiful images .... In short, the big show, like the KISS concert at the Zenith in June.
During the concert, Nightwish made several tributes to France, and especially for the victims of the attacks that took place on November 13. The group encouraged us, told us to stay strong, they were with us to support us. During the song "Sleeping Sun", many people of the public turned their lighters like candles. It was a really beautiful, sad and moving moment, I even had a small tear in the corner of the eye. Anyway thank you very much Nightwish for the tributes, for Paris but also for the whole France. Paris loves you Nightwish, France loves you, and you love us too. You give warmth in the hearts of the French fans, and mine too. Thank you for this incredible Metal night. We were here, and still standing! \m/

Here my videos of the concert:

How I discovered Lordi? My story with the Lapland Monsters

It is no longer a secret. In 2008, my life had changed when I started to listen and become a fan of rock and metal music and that I had become a fan of Motörhead, AC / DC and Nirvana, but in 2009, my life changed again when I discovered the band Lordi, the metal monsters. Here how it started:

I have not discovered Lordi with one of their songs, but with the horror film Dark Floors. Big fan of horror movies since always, I often watch the television channel Cine Frisson, and one day, when there was nothing interesting, I saw a movie called "Dark Floors", scheduled for be broadcast after the advertisement. I didn't know the movie and I was curious to see what it was. I watched the movie, and I loved it from beginning to end! To my surprise, I learned that the monsters of the film were a metal band called Lordi, and they created the song of the movie "Beast Loose in Paradise" (generic song I liked so much too) . Even more puzzled and curious, I went to youtube to find and listen to several of their songs. Hard Rock Hallelujah, It Snows in Hell, Who's your Daddy, Devil is a Loser, Blood Red Sandman ..... My heart was conquered, and the same day I discovered Lordi, I became a fan, and I have never ceased to be.
I like all the members of Lordi (former and current), but I'm really falling in love with their female monsters, like Lady Awa, and the Scarbie Hella, which have become my favorites.
I bought all their albums, I bought all their DVD and the movie Dark Floors of course, I have three t-shirts of the group (one of the Arockalypse era, one of the TBONTB era, and the third is of the era Scare Force One)
I also wrote Lordi fanfictions on the computer, I published them on my Wattpad account. In these stories, I have a relationship with Hella and the other monsters are my allies, and together we fight against the evil forces. I have already published two stories, and I plan a third to finish the trilogy, which I named "The Chronicles of Lordi." But for now, I don't know if I'll publish the third story, having others planning.
I saw Lordi in live, three times, and I don't want to stop. Each concert was an unforgettable time, and as I like to say, I survived the monsters of Lapland, every time. I had the chance to see them closely, and at the last concert, Mr. Lordi even shot on me with his smoke gun. Amen, Ox and Mana are also very impressive, and Hella, sexy and terrifying, every time I see her in live, my heart starts pounding and I smile like an idiot, but I love that. I just regret that I could never see a Lordi concert with Awa at Keyobards :/
Yep, Lordi changed my life, and I thanks the life for this \m/

Villain of the Month - Edition N°4

Hi humans, and welcome to a new edition of the "Villain of the Month".

In this edition, the most famous villain of Batman, and also one of the most emblematic of the DC universe. The king of crime: the Joker (In this article, I'll talk about the Joker of The Dark Knight) (RIP Heath Ledger)

In The Dark Knight, the Joker is a criminal, but his peculiarity is its goal: he wants no money, no power, what he wants is chaos, just chaos, and also the desire to demonstrate that the world is not as safe and comfortable as the politicians want to make believe to people. His main target is Harvey Dent, an influential and respected attorney and loved by all, which promises a better and secure future for Gotham. The Joker is intended to terrorize and spread death in the city, and also to break Harvey Dent, little by little, to make him fall into the same madness that him, to demonstrate that even the most influential and powerful people are not not immune from becoming heartless monsters.

The Joker is a unique criminal. First, he had the face disfigured by two scars on each side of the mouth, giving it a macabre smile. When he talks about his scars, he invents a past every time, but you can feel his hatred and pain when he speaks, but it's as if he took pleasure in talking about it. The Joker is a very cruel man, who does not hesitate to kill even his own associates. The other highlight of the Joker is his intelligence. He's a criminal mastermind, he always seems to have a step ahead on the police and Batman. The Joker prepares its plans with a truly amazing efficiency, giving him an almost demonic appearance. The joker doesn't care about the money (in the film, he burns a pile of money without remorse), he manages to manipulate others and uses it to take control of the underworld of Gotham. The Joker is also one of the few criminals not to be afraid of Batman. Instead, the Joker even says he does not want to kill Batman because he "amuses him", and as he said to Batman "You complete me". Joker's insanity is to such an extent that he even seems to have no fear of dying (The Joker is still the only villain to laugh when he falls from the top of a building)
Of course, the Joker has gone mad, that's what gives him his character, but the most interesting is that he knows he is crazy and doesn't try to hide it, instead, he wants to make the world as crazy as him. The Joker also has a sense of humor very macabre, often involving the suffering and death as jokes (like the scene where he kills a man of the underworld with a pencil, saying doing a magic trick to make it "disappear" ). The Joker is a villain, but he is part of the category of villains we love, because they are so complex, so badass and epic, that they almost steal the show at the main hero.

To have become an icon of an entire universe, a criminal mastermind feared by all, and also a villain with a unique personality, the Joker deserves its place in the list of the iconic villains.

See you next month for a new edition of the "Villain of the Month"
Why so serious?

My first live of Undobar \m/

"Billions of Days", "Drive your Car", "Roaring", "Promises" et "Digging your Grave" font partie de mes chansons préférés, tellement elles ont marqué mon esprit. :)
Keep on Rockin Undobar \m/

Thanks Undobar \m/ You Rock! :)

Get one ring.....To rule them all!

Today I went into town center to go to a shop of collection toys that I love so much, where I had seen an article that I wanted for a long time, and finally I realized a dream: I got the Ring of Sauron. Not a plastic ring, I bought a true replica of the ring, with the elven engravings all around, like in the movie.
For years, I dreamed to get the Ring and put it on my finger, to become the new lord of the rings. After the dream of Game of Thrones I experienced while I was sitting on the Iron Throne, I touch another symbol of the universe Medieval / Fantasy. Sauron is one of my favorite villains, and to get his symbol is such a pleasure for the LOTR fan I am.
Sitting on the Iron Throne, I get the support and authority over other kingdoms, with my queen Daenerys of house Targaryen, and with the Ring, I get the power to create my armies and get powerful entities under my orders, as the Nazguls.

One ring....To rule them all!
