The masked bands

It is no longer a secret, but I like the masked groups or with makeup. I think it gives a unique image to the group and it allows you to create truly unique and unforgettable characters. But however, with the large number of masked bands that I like, some ask me if I love these groups, just because they wear masks or makeup. Personally, I do not like this comment, because it wants to insinuate that I am interested only by the visual of a group, but it is completely false. I do not see the point of loving a group only for its looks. If I like as much of masked bands as Lordi, KISS, Daft Punk, Ghost, Slipknot..... This is because their musics are really awesome. I'm a real fan, I love visual, but also the songs.

Those who have heard that also, will understand what I mean

Motorhead and Tarja Turunen in a festival

Really, this is the year of the concerts for me. I'll probably still see two artists I am really fan: the legendary heavy metal band, Motorhead, and the beautiful and talented singer, Tarja Turunen, former singer of the Finnish band Nightwish. Tarja being part of the women in my heart, it is normal that I want to see her since I know her, and Motorhead is the group that made me love the Heavy Metal, so for me, it is as if it was the group that had fact born the metalmaniac that I'm became.

Finally, I'll join the Ghost Ritual

Today, I got bad news and good news: the bad news is that unfortunately I could not attend this year's Hellfest (this will be a next time). For cons, the good news has me smile again because finally, despite the distance, I can go to see the Swedish group, Ghost, in Arras, in northern France. This is my consolation. Although I would prefer to go with my foreign friends, I'm glad to be part of the Ritual.

Dream with my foreign friends

Last night I have a dream where I was with my two Canadians friends, Emily and Brayden. I remember we were all three in a large concert hall filled with people, and we discussed between us. There was also Daft Punk in the concert room, on the stage, playing one of their songs. I do not remember what we were talking during the dream, but I remember we have fun and laught. When I woke up, I was disappointed that was only a dream, because it was so real and cool.

Compressorhead: 200% heavy metal band

Recently, I discovered a group of metal truly unique in its kind: indeed, this group called Compressorhead, is consists only ..... of Robots! No, you did not misread. Created in Germany, these robots seem straight come from a science fiction movie or another planet. Since 2012, the group of robots rides in the planet by doing concerts, and they start to become popular, especially in Australia. The popularity of the robotics group rises slowly, but surely. Even if they only do that known rock and metal songs, the group knows his small success and is acclaim wherever he goes.

Fingers (Guitars)
Now, I present the three robots of the group, starting with the guitarist, and a little group leader: Fingers. Small in size but giant in talent, because this robot with its 78 fingers, hence its name, knows how to handle the guitar like a pro. Of all robots of the group, Fingers is the most dynamic, shaking his head like a metalhead, and moving his body from left to right.

Bones (Bass)
Bones is bassist of the robots group. Although it is the newest of the group, so it is the youngest robot, it nonetheless remains one of the pillars of the group. His name, Bones, comes from the fact that its large metal hands resemble to human bones. But thanks to his thick fingers, he knows how to handle the bass like a real pro. Bones can shake its head a little but slowly, and it does not walk, it rolls with tank tracks instead of legs.

Stickboy (Drums)
And finally, here is the drummer, and I must say, the most impressive robot of the group: Stickboy. He is very metalhead with its crest of punk on the head. But what makes Stickboy, unique in the group and among all the other drummers, is that he has four arms to play! Yes, Stickboy is the only batsman in the world to have four arms. When he starts hitting his drums, shaking his head like a metalhead, we are carried away by the rhythm. Personally, Stickboy is my favorite member of the group.

Here, finally, Compressorhead is a really promising group and I want them to last very long. I'm already a fan of this group and I hope they will spend in France one day.

Dreams and Nightmares

It has happened to everyone to be the hero of his dreams or nightmares. We find ourselves in situations we imagine not a single moment in real life. Sometimes we find ourselves in zany situations. Yes, sometimes dreams are meaningless and often, we wakes up in thinking "but damn, what happened to me?"
It has happened to me of dreams nonsensical. A really good canadian friend told me tonight that she had fact a dream, and I was inside. I've also had dreams where I saw my friends and I lived great adventures with them, but I do not remember very well for describe in detail.
I also often dream of my idols, for example, once or Awa, the former keyboardist of Lordi, came back to see me in my house and kissed me. A really beautiful dream.
At the moment, I do not dream much, or I do not remember my dreams. But if I have again another a beautiful dream, I write about it.

Hellfest: just a Festival, not an incitement to Satanism!

For many years, people from religious world have spent a petition in France, asking that the Hellfest is permanently banned. Of course, the reaction of the Metalmaniacs did not expect, in France, but throughout Europe. We must not forget that the Hellfest is today considered one of the leading metal festivals in Europe. I know that logo Hellfest is a devil, but it only shows the picture and name of the festival: Hell-Fest!
The religious people say that Hellfest is a way to encourage young people to Satanism. This is bullshit! Hellfest is just a music festival to entertain the Metalmaniacs and allow them to see their favorite bands. This year I'm going to Hellfest, but I'm not a Satanist, I'm a Metalmaniac, this is not the same thing, it is time that these people learn to know that.
I know I listen several dark groups, sometimes with violent lyrics, and that, it makes me a Satanist? Of course not. I'm just a Metalmaniac, which can love the thrash music like the melodic music.

Of course, I have nothing against religious people , but if they really want to ban the Hellfest , they want to deprive millions of people of their passion and their entertainment, and I find it rather shameful. People can call me Satanist if they want, but in my heart I know I'm not one, so their words are worthless.
But also, I know some Metalmaniacs will sometimes go too far in their actions, and even go so far as to threaten the people of the religious world. For me, it is just a method that will make things worse.
But hey, I do not care, Hellfest brings together millions of people every year, it is one of the biggest metal events in Europe, so, the Hellfest is not ready to die!

THIS IS HEAVY METAL!

Hevisaurus: a metal band for children but also for adults

For some months now, I know a Finnish band called Hevisaurus.
For those who do not know, Hevisaurus is a Finnish power metal band, created in 2009, and the peculiarity of this group is that all members wear costumes dinosaurs, and are clothed with rock and metal accessories (jacket leather, bracelets with spikes, etc ....). Their songs are based on the theme of childhood and fantasy. At first I did not dare speak to this group to the others, because I was afraid they would make fun of me and that they do not take me seriously, but after seeing some of my foreign friends love also this group, I am no longer afraid to show that yes, I listen Hevisaurus.

Hevisaurus is a metal band for children, in fact I might even say for all ages. There is no age for loved Hevisaurus. Already, I think it's cute, a metal band for small children. Hevisaurus probably wants to show that metal music is not necessarily violent and rough, it can be as gentle and enchanting for a child, as a disney movie.
And of dinosaurs that make metal music, I find the idea crazy but fun. And I must admit that some of their songs are catchy and really metal.
If I like Hevisaurus is because in my heart, a part of my childhood continues to live and I do not want her to go. I want to stay as I am for the rest of my life, I not want changed.
Within us, even if we do not want show it, we all remain children, somewhere in our minds and our hearts.....

April 30, my first Halestorm concert

Well, for starters, I can start by shouting VICTORY. There a week ago, I saw on the internet that Halestorm will give a concert in Paris. Shortly before, I had seen that I unfortunately could not go see Ghost (Too far from home and no way to go).
I had to wait all week to buy tickets, and finally I got them.

Now it only remains for me to wait, although I'm looking forward to the idea of seeing them, especially Lzzy Hale, the great and beautiful woman singer of the group.
I hope they will play their songs such as "I Miss the Misery", "Love Bites (So do I), "I Get Off" or" Mz. Hyde ".
To conclude, I would say again: VICTORY and THIS is AWESOME!
