Last night I went to Paris to attend my first concert of this year 2016 and for the third consecutive year, I start my concerts with one of my favorite bands, in my personal top 4: Halestorm. And in the first part, a group that I already knew, I had discovered and seen in live last year: Wilson.
Waited 1 hour in the cold and rain, very exhausted and breathless after the show, but super happy of my evening.
To start the evening, a group from Detroit, Michigan: Wilson. I saw this band in live last year, as opening act for Halestorm too, at the Bataclan. But see them again made me become an even bigger fan of them, and they managed so well to set the mood in the room with their sound heavy and hard. Great Wilson!
I've heard so much about them that I don't present them anymore, and being my third concert with them, I knew what to expect and it was going to be electric: Yes, Halestorm! With the beautiful and lovely Lzzy Hale, that I still love so much <3 and I always take pleasure in listening. But for this show, Halestorm made a special song, a cover of Eagles of Death Metal, in tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks of the Bataclan. Halestorm had done a show in this room (I was there), few months ago before the tragedy. Halestorm was deeply affected and they made it clear to me and the rest of the crowd, they are with us and they love us. We also love you Halestorm, thank you to you to give us energy and smile. We all stay strong! \m/

I never concerned myself about external affairs in the world, for my part, I have my own personal war, for many years against these things called Ignorance and intolerance. Call me crazy, psychopath if you want, I don't fucking care, it does not distract me from my goal. I consider all intolerant and ignorant people as my enemies. I decided to start this fight the day I leave my high school because of a nervous breakdown that almost killed me, caused by assholes and son of a bitch who have rejected and annoyed me a lot because I'm different. Yeah, I'm fascinated by things like darkness, death, paranormal and horror, voodoo, weapons (especially blades).....I like, and not ashamed to show it.
In the world we live in, I know my war will never end, but I will never surrender, because my mind will remain as solid and firmly involved in my way of life and my passions, I would not lost.
I was treated as a satanist, monster, psycho .... I was treated of crazy because I am told that this "fight" I lead is useless, but it's wrong. It must still have it of humanity in some of us.
My darkness are coming for you, intolerant and ignorant people. I may never succeed to break you, but you will never succeed on me.
The villain of this month is not human, and is considered as the greatest threat in the world where he lives: the world eater, Alduin the dragon.
Alduin is one of the oldest dragons, but also one of the most powerful. If the dragons are able to channel their desire for power, Alduin let his desire for destruction take over, and thus began trying to impose its domination over the world, thanks to its evil influence on the other dragons, who obeyed him, but more by fear than anything else. This is how the war between dragons and humans began, humans wishing to free their world from the tyrannical reign of Alduin. But some dragons, as Paarthurnax, decided to join the humans for help them, and thanks to an elder scroll, during a terrible fight at the top of the throat of the world, Alduin was defeated and sent into another dimension where he was to remain prisoner forever.
But one day Alduin managed to return to the continent of Tamriel, in feeding himself with the souls of the dead to Sovngarde to regain his power. Alduin is determined to take his revenge on the world and to re-impose his reign of terror, in destroying all life on Tamriel, starting with Skyrim.
In Skyrim, Alduin did things so horrible but disappeared for so long that everyone now considers him as a legend. His return announces the end of the world and of all life, and only a few people still seem to believe in it. Alduin inspires awe and fear to everyone in Skyrim, even the most powerful and important lords of the game fear him and realize the danger he represents.
Alduin has a goal of becoming the most powerful, and his thirst for power seems not to have limits. He is ready to destroy an entire world and devour all the life inside to increase his strength. This is why he is called "the world eater" because according to that nickname, several worlds have already been completely destroyed by the dragon. Besides, Alduin is one of the most badass villains for me, because its appearance is so cool and perfect for his nickname. With his body completely covered with black scales, his shining and cruel red eyes, his horns that resemble that of a devil, his cavernous voice and devoid of feelings and pity, and his huge black wings. He looks like a huge angel of death came to spread chaos and death into the world of the living. The representation of evil in its purest form. Ba-Dass.
Alduin is unique because he has powers that no other dragon seems to possess. Alduin has the power to bring the dead dragons to life, to get them to fight for him. He can also control the elements, as he can make the sky turn red or covered with storm clouds.
Alduin also has the power to travel between the worlds of living and the world of the dead. He can go to Sovngarde and devour the souls of the dead, to regain power. Badass!!
For all of this, for being the world eater and one of the best dragons of all time, Alduin deserves his place among the epic villains.

For the month of February, I'll make you discover a Swedish band, formed in 2012: Dead Soul. The band's style is rather special because it mixes Rock elements but also Electro and Blues, in an atmosphere rather dark and melodic. The singer, Slidin 'Slim, is dressed with an outfit that reminded me a bit the Blues Brothers, with hat, jacket and dark glasses, and also his singing reminds me a lot to the blues singers . I had the chance to see Dead Soul in live, in December last year, when they came to Paris, as the opening act of Ghost. I had already listened to their songs on youtube, but I wanted to see them in live, and I was not disappointed. They're really talented and deserve to be better known.
If you love the blues and rock, you will surely love Dead Soul.
