My first time to Disneyland

Last Sunday, I have realized another dream, a dream of my childhood: I was finally able to go to the famous park of Disneyland Paris. I am fortunate to live close to Paris and so the distance was not too much to the park. By train, it took only two hours to reach Disneyland. I will tell a few attractions and what I saw in this magnificent park.

The first attraction we did was that of Lilo and Stitch. A very friendly and fun attraction in which we were facing a giant screen, and we had to help Stitch to escape his enemies and to find Lilo. The entertainment was very impressive, and Stitch spoke with us like in real life, he heard what we said, called us by our names .... We managed to help Stitch, and it was a great victory. Another attraction we did was inspired by the movie Ratatouille. In a small wagon traveling on a magnetic circuit, and with 3D glasses over his eyes, we had the feeling of being in the skin of a rat and see like a rat sees the humans and the world.

I visited the city of Agrabah, where I could see the genius of Aladdin walking in the park and going to see the visitors. Like other characters, I could see Donald Duck, who was doing photos with children. One of the best was to see Captain Jack Sparrow. As a big fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, it was natural to do the attraction of the pirates. I even take a lunch with the pirates, in a restaurant surely inspired by Tortuga. It was inside, but with the tropical trees, the lanterns, and the dark ceiling, I felt like eating outside, on a beach, in a restaurant during a night at the Caribbean. Really great experience and food was excellent. 

Personally, my favorite attraction was Pirates of the Caribbean. It was like a ghost tunnel, but on the water, in small boats and we sailed on the dark waters, seeing around us: very realistic animatronic pirates, stranded boats wrecks, Tortuga, sunken treasure, and living dead pirates, and all with a very catchy pirate music. I was really catchy in the world of pirates throughout the attraction. As a big fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, I had to do this.

The day passed quickly. Yes, it is like that when you're having fun, we do not see the time spent. But before leaving the park, we could see one last thing and not less: a parade. Many people had gathered on the sidewalks around the main street of the town Disney, and my sister and I went to see what happens. And there, an employee announced at the microphone: "Ladies and gentlemen, especially you children, please welcome our honor guests for the parade: They come from the Kingdom of Arendelle: The Queen Elsa and her sister, Princess Anna."

Yep, I saw Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. As Disney stories end well, in a sense, my Disney day has well ended with this, I want to say. I decided to take photos because I enjoyed the film Frozen, Elsa is a strong woman and one of my favorite female characters in the Disney universe, and also because the costumes are very realistic. You can feel the quality is a vital thing in the Disney park, and it's understandably, with the number of children who come every day, amazed, to see their favorite characters. It was after this parade that my sister and I left the Disneyland park, as we heard behind us the echo of the song "Let it go" in the sound system.

A good way to finish my day and this dream I lived for real. Disneyland, I'll be back, I promise!

And remember: There's no age for Disney.

Wun Wun - Last of the giants (Tribute)

Tonight, after watching episode 9 of season 6 of Game of Thrones, I write this article to pay tribute to one of my favorite characters in the whole series: Wun Wun the giant.
Wun Wun had appeared in season 5, where he showed his bravery and strength in fighting the zombies of the army of the dead. Therefore, the giant became a friend of Jon Snow, and there was a mutual respect between them.
Later, at the beginning of season 6, Wun Wun helped defend Jon's corpse, destroying the doors of Castleblack, and killing a guard by hitting him violently against a wall. Although he was not a human, Wun Wun had chosen to fight for them, for the good cause.
But it's in this episode 9 of season 6 that Wun Wun, after a terrible bloody battle, where the giant fought with all his strength, he sacrificed his life to allow the forces of Jon and Sansa to enter in the city. The body riddled with arrows, Wun Wun continued to move forward until the end. He gave his life for a people that was not his own, but he chose to do so. His death tore my heart in two, to see him suffer from his injuries ached me and when he breathed his last before falling, tears flowed from my cheeks. He was a really nice character, and my only regret is he was not more exploited and shown on the screen. He deserved it. Another regret is that Wun Wun will never meet Daenerys, I really wished she see a giant.

Wun Wun. Last of the giants. More than a true warrior. A true hero. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

One year ago: My first KISS show!

Time passes very quickly, and I realize it again today. Although 2015 was not very good and was full of negative events, for me and for France, but yet I also keep some good memories, including one of the best concerts of my life in Paris. One year ago precisely, I finally saw for real, the legendary rock band, KISS.

I remember during the day waiting for the evening, I was very nervous and impatient. En route to Paris, there was a lot of traffic and I was afraid of being late. But fortunately I was able to arrive on time and be well placed in the pit. Awaiting the start of the show, I talked with other fans, especially with a girl who was disguised as Gene Simmons. For she also was her first Kiss concert and she was as impatient as me.

The lights went out ...... The fans and myself were screaming with all our strength, arms raised ...... And suddenly ..... "Alright Paris? You wanted the best? You got the best! The hottest band in the world ..... KISS!"

Gosh ..... I would remember it all my life ..... To hear this phrase for real gave me chills. And when the show started, the whole crowd exploded. Kiss was there! Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer! On stage! I finally see them for real! It was the same thing when I saw Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead for the first time: a dream come true and you don't want to awake.

Kiss started the concert by Detroit Rock City, and ended with the famous Rock N Roll All Night, under a shower of confetti and fireworks. Time passed quickly unfortunately, but it's like that when you're having fun. It was my first KISSxperience, and I hope to have more. :)

DiscoveRock Edition N°15 - Lordi

Already 15th edition of DiscoveRock, time flies quickly, and this month we are going to Finland to discover a very special and great band, both visually and musically: the monsters of Lapland: Lordi.

Lordi is first a solo project created in 1992 by Mr. Lordi, a movie fan, music and fictional monsters. He calls his project "Lordi" who was a nickname given to him by his grandmother when he was little. But soon, Mr. Lordi decides to recruit musicians to form a group and this is at a concert of his favorite band, Kiss, he met his first future partners and friends.
Over the years many members have followed and the two remaining members of origins to date are Mr. Lordi and Amen, the guitarist.
It was in 2006 that the fate of Lordi changes forever because they win the Eurovision Song Contest, to general surprise, with the highest score ever achieved in a competition. This is the first victory for Finland at Eurovision. The Finnish President to meet them in person to congratulate them on their victory. Therefore, the group will be asked all around, their popularity will explode and become international, invited on TV shows through all Europe, even in France, and especially with the release of the album that is still regarded today as their best album: the Arockalypse.

In 2008, Mr. Lordi fulfilled a dream: he made his own horror movie, with a technical team and a director. The film is called Dark Floors, a horror movie with inspiration of films like Silent Hill or Resident Evil. In the movie, Lordi are playing the monsters, with their own stage costumes.

The musical style of the group is much inspired by Heavy Metal from 70-80s, particularly Kiss, but more Thrash. Lordi have created a universe based on the horror film and monsters, and their music videos are in the form of mini horror movies with human victims of the attacks of creatures. A stupid cunt and his stupid stereotypes about France

I am French, and proud of my origins Normandy and Brittany, and if there's one thing I can not tolerate is that we speak ill of my country, and I think the majority are in the same situation as me.
I just watched a video of classification, a "Top", described by an American or an English, and is talking about "10 things you didn't know about France," and after seeing this video, I was really red with anger. Let me explain.
The guy who is talking about France, said for example that Paris is a disgusting city, and nobody can take a step without walking on a dog poop. Again, the stereotype of the dirty French person who never cleans anything. All those who believe this, go fuck yourself. French are not dirty pigs!
Another annoying point is that he described the French as almost insensitive people, as heartless monsters. He dares to say for the French, it is normal to deceive his girlfriend or boyfriend, and that infidelity is normal for French. Asshole! You know nothing of us!
Another point about labor strikes. In the video, he dares to say that for the French, strikes are a way of life. You see this middle finger? It's for you, bastard!
And he described the French as horse meat eaters and as we like taking pleasure in killing ponies to put them in burgers? WTF? And he says that Marseille, a city in southern France, is the most dangerous city in all Europe. You know, I think there are much more dangerous cities across the continent. The thugs of Marseille are chihuahuas compared to some gangs in other cities of Europe.
So to sum up, this guy described the French as dirty, heartless and lazy people.
Am I talking about your country as you did with mine? NO! So, shut up stupid man, you don't know France.

Hero of the Month - Edition N°10

After the villain of the month, it is natural to show now which hero will be on the soptlight this month. And for this month of June 2016, I present one of the member of the honorable race of the Yautjas or Predators for humans: Wolf, the elite hunter of the movie AVP: Requiem.

The story begins when Wolf, sitting at home on his home planet, receives a transmission, a warning message from a Predator spaceship that had crashed on planet earth. Wolf decides to leave to go investigate the crash and discover the origins of the call. On site, Wolf discovered the wreck of the ship, crashed in the woods of Colorado, and in the wreck, found the bodies of several of his brothers Predators, dead, and one of them that sent the message before dying . Thanks to the archives stored in the mask of his dead brother, Wolf discovered that the ship was carrying facehuggers and that they have escaped into the wild, and more, the crash of the vessel was caused by a hybrid creature, the Predalien . Wolf decides to go in search of this abomination and to destroy it at any cost.

For the duration of the film, Wolf sees little by little the extent of the Xenomorph invasion that is spreading in the small town of Gunnison and repeatedly, will fight against the Xenomorphs and demonstrate fighting skills of veteran facing the enemy superior in number. It's on the roof of the hospital in the city that Wolf finds the Predalien and begins his fight against him. But the Predalien is more resistant and stronger than ordinary Xenomorph, and Wolf has many trouble to kill him. During a struggle or Wolf was not over, he manages to mortally wound the Predalien by piercing the head with his metal claws, but unfortunately, Wolf is also fatally wounded after the Predalien pierced the body with its tail. The two enemies die together, face to face. Wolf's body is sprayed, along the Predalien and all the aliens, by the bomb that humans launches to raze the city and stem the invasion. Wolf dies as a warrior, but his plasma gun is recovered by the organization of Ms. Yutani, future associated of Mr. Weyland, who later formed the company Weyland-Yutani.

Wolf is not an ordinary Predator because he is an elite hunter, a veteran who survived hundreds of hunts, as shown at the beginning of the film his collection of masks, trophies and weapons. His face is also marked by time and fights, and one of its mandibles is missing, scar of an old hunting.

With his experience, Wolf showed incredible strength and fighting spirit against the Xenomorph army and manages to stand up to many of them, alone. Wolf therefore seems to know the Xenomorphs and by seeing how he fights against them, it seems that this is not the first time he faced them. Although the goal of Wolf is to stop the invasion and killing the Predalien, he does not hesitate to kill humans, usually embarrassing witnesses who noticed his presence. Wolf seems also to try to protect humans sometimes, Because in a scene, he kills a man with a gun who was with a woman and her daughter. The man began to go crazy and threatening to hit the girl if she did not shut up. Wolf may have thought the man wanted to kill them. Wolf's death is tragic but epic, as he died, taking with him the abomination, the Predalien, that killed several Predators in the ship. The honor of Wolf is saved and it's as a warrior that he left to join his ancestors.

Although he appears that in one film, for his strength, courage, fighting alone against an army, and his sacrifice to save a planet that was not his, Wolf deserves his place in the list of heroes, not monsters.

Villain of the Month - Edition N°11

Hellcome humans for the new edition who put the best fictional villains on the planet in the spotlight. This month, I'm proud to present a villain from my country, from a French fantasy series: the main antagonist of the season 2 of Wakfu and one of the most dangerous of the series: Qilby the traitor.

In the world of Wakfu, Qilby is a member of Eliatrope people, but even more, it is one of the first six Eliatropes born, and thereby, is immortal and after each of its dead, returns to his Dofus, an egg of dragon, to be reborn again. Qilby is found by Yugo and Adamaï while he remained locked in a lost dimension. Qilby discovers that the world has changed since his departure and then tells what happened to Eliatrope people, saying that a race of machines, the Mechasmsn have, centuries ago, destroyed Eliatrope civilization, forcing them to change of planet. But a Mechasm, Orgonax, has traced the Eliatropes and caused their end. During the fight, Qilby said he lost his arm because of Orgonax and Yugo, to save the life of his king, sent him to the lost dimension or he had remained locked since. This is the version of Qilby, but the truth is otherwise. Soon, Qilby proves to be crazy, or even dangerous. With the eliacube, he recovers quickly his strength and his lost arm. The purpose of Qilby is simple: leave the world of twelve with a ship, the Zinith, and use all the Wakfu energy present in the world to take off the machine, even if this world is to be destroyed. Qilby wants to leave to go to the discovery of new worlds, considering that the Eliatropes are the chosen people and must therefore explore the universe, opinion is not shared by Yugo and Adamaï, who consider the destruction of a innocent world is not worth that excuse. During the final battle, Qilby reveals to Yugo that he is himself responsible for the attack f the Mechasms on the Eliatrope people, centuries ago, and therefore, it is the dragon Phaeris, ally of Yugo, that wounded Qilby to the arm, and Yugo, to punish Qilby, had banished him to a lost dimension. The battle between the two enemies resumed again. Yugo learns by Eliatropes survivor that he himself is the king, and not Qilby who declared himself king, considering more able to lead the people and saying that Yugo is not worthy of such a title.

As the first five other Eliatropes, Qilby has the power of immortality and reborn in each of his "dead". But however, Qilby has an additional capability, which is a kind of curse. If the other Eliatropes, as Yugo, lose all memory of their past life in their rebirth, meanwhile, Qilby never forget. He keeps the memory of all his past lives, every moment is etched in his mind. With this, Qilby acquired thousands of years of knowledge through his lives, but over time, it has lost all taste for life, considering that he had seen everything and had to go elsewhere, taking with him his people against their will if necessary. All his years of solitude, imprisonment and the influence of eliacube on his mind eventually make Qilby crazy and paranoid, seeing all others as inferior and against him.

Qilby has a strength and powers tenfold with the force of eliacube. But what makes him really dangerous is his intelligence. Despite his psychosis, Qilby is very clever, and takes sadistic pleasure in manipulating everyone to use them to its prorpes intêrets. In one episode, Qilby said to Yugo that he likes to see people fight each other. Qilby therefore proves to be a sadist.

But despite that, Qilby belongs to the "dramatic villains" because despite his psychopathic behavior, if you know its history, also feels sorry for him. His strength is his curse. Because even if he is immortal, Qilby is condemned to live forever with the memories of each of his past lives, never forgetting. And even if Qilby is claiming himself invincible, he has a fear that Yugo guessed throughout their battle: Qilby is afraid to be alone. Loneliness is his greatest fear. During the fighting, Qilby hurt Yugo, Adamaï, Grougaloragran and Phaeris but never kill them, because knowing that if he kill them and all his people, he will be alone.  

For his story, his curse, his personnality and his powers, Qilby deserves to be in the list of the most charismatic villains.
