Top 3 Best Legendary Rock Bands

Many artists have revolutionized music over the years, but I especially look at the rock and metal music. I admire many rock artists, but the three that I quote in this ranking are for me the best of the best.

1. Motörhead
-Style: Rock N Roll
- Years active: 1975 - 2015
- Albums: 22
- First album: Motörhead (1977)
- Last Album: Bad Magic (2015)
- Saw them in live?: Oh yeah, twice!
- Members (and their years active in the band):
Lemmy Kilmister (Bass and Vocals) (1975 - 2015) (founder and leader of the band)
Phil Campbell (Guitars) (1984 - 2015)
Mikkey Dee (Drums) (1992 - 2015)
Phil "Animal" Taylor (Drums) (1975 - 1984 and 1987 - 1992)
"Fast" Eddie Clarke (Guitars) (1976 - 1982)
Brian "Robbo" Robertson (Guitars) (1982 - 1983)
Michael "Würzel" Burston (Guitars) (1984 - 1995)
Pete Gill (Drums) (1984 - 1987)
Larry Wallis (Guitars) (1975-1976)
Lucas Fox (Drums) (1975)
- After 40 years of career, in 2015, Motörhead stops definitely following the death of its founder and leader, Lemmy Kilmister, who was 70 years old.

2. ZZ Top
- Style: Blues Rock
- Years active: 1969 - present
- Albums: 15
- First album: ZZ Top's first album (1971)
- Last album: La Futura (2012)
- Saw them in live?: Yeah!
- Members (and their years active in the band):
Billy Gibbons (Guitars and Lead vocals) (1969 - present) (founder of the band)
Dusty Hill (Bass and Back vocals) (1969 - present)
Frank Beard (Drums) (1969 - present)
- After nearly 50 years of career, ZZ Top is still active and one of the few groups to have never changed members over the years.

3. Kiss
- Style: Heavy/Glam Metal
- Years active: 1973 - present
- Albums: 20
- First album: Kiss (1974)
- Last album: Monster (2012)
- Saw them in live?: Yeah!
- Members (and their years active in the band):
Paul Stanley (Rhythm guitars and Vocals) (1973 - present) (founder of the band)
Gene Simmons (Bass and Vocals) (1973 - present) (founder of the band)
Tommy Thayer (Lead guitars and Vocals) (2002 - present)
Eric Carr (Drums and Vocals) (1980 - 1991)
Vinnie Vincent (Lead guitars and Vocals) (1982 - 1984)
Bruce Kulick (Lead guitars and Vocals) (1984 - 1996)
Mark St. John (Lead guitars and Backing vocals) (1984)
- Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are the last two original members of Kiss. Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are still struggling to be accepted by some fans, but they both deserve their place in Kiss.

    1. After Motörhead, ZZ Top are my favorite legends. I discovered them thanks to my dad, and I always loved the Blues Rock.
I saw ZZ Top in live with my dad last year, it was like a dream come true for us.
